G&G RK 104 EVO AK Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[R10C00][03031 / EGK-104-EVO]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The AK-47 has been used successfully by military forces worldwide for years and has spawned a whole line of different models. The RK-104 EVO is an upgrade upon the latest designs of the Kalashnikov series of assault rifles. The traditional wood stock, and grip have been replaced with polymer ones. Also, the handguard has been replaced with a sturdy polymer rail system capable of mounting optics, lasers, and vertical grips; ultimately making the traditional AK more versatile and usable. In addition to that, the RK-104 EVO has a realistic take down procedure, unlike many of it's competitors. The RK-104 EVO is the next generation AK, and it's available now!

All I can say is "wow"! The construction quality is absolutely outstanding. Feels more solid and is heavier than the VFC AK-74. I don't believe there is a better AK for the money right now.
Pros:
Metal hop-up
Solid as a rock
Takes a 9.6v large batt.
Weaver Rails
375 out of the box - expect 360fps after the spring breaks in
Great R.O.F.
Over 6lbs. - it's hefty
Cons:
Accuracy could be better - a tightbore would be amazing in this
Mag well is a little tight for Star mags - but they work
Rear site is a little wobbly
Bought it about 4 weeks ago came within a week. Played 3 skirmishes with it, and i must say its amazing, everything is rock solid and built to last. Body is all metal except for rails and front hand grip and the stock, but its a very high grade plastic which is really nice. good weight, i expected more weight though...
Pros:
375 FPS
Metal Receiver
Takes a 9.6v
Shoots extremely fast
Super Sturdy
Rails...
accuracy
Cons:
All cosmetic cons, no probs with the internals
Little bit more plastic than expected, very sturdy though
Rails are plastic
Plastic high cap mag...
Disappointing at best. Purchased this rifle as a back up to my KWA. Out of the box, the gun looks and feels very nice. However, when I initially tested it, it would not fire full auto without dry firing. After consultation with ASGI, I returned for warranty repair, which revealed a broken tappet plate. ASGI did repaired with no hassle and returned the gun.
I took it out for skirmish battle test. Worked well for two games, then stop firing completely. I suspected a blown fuse, but both fuse and battery were fine. After several minutes working the fire selector, gun started firing again. In the third match, gun stopped firing again. I suspect a loose wire or contact in the trigger assembly. The last skirmish, the plastic magazine broke. A very small plastic tab on the front of the magazine snapped off, rendering it useless. For $280, my experience with the gun is very unsatisfactory. Having researched several alternatives, I expected G&G to better than this.
Pros:
Nice looking gun,
Heavy weight and construction,
Decent platform for upgrade
ASGI customer service on repair
Cons:
Unreliable
Poorly designed magazine
Very expensive for the number of problems.
I would not recommend - for this level of investment - spend a little extra and buy a KWA
