New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

The G&G Crane Stock will work with most brands of M16 series rifles, however modification maybe required. The crane stock design is the best way to disguise the battery wiring and have a balanced rifle. Included with this stock is a rear sling adaptor, buffer tube and the necessary mounting hardware.

Product Information:
i was looking at these other reviews, and i have this stock and i also realized all of these problems could have been solved with research.
first of all, its the same as a G&P stock, which are meant for the battery to go in through the back, if you take the crane stock off and twist the little tab things near the buffer tube inwards, they come off and a battery will go in easier that way, takes a little trial and error, but once you get it right, this crane stock does its job and is one of the cheapest on the market. secondly, 10.8 are pretty uncommon crane stock batteries i think G&P is the only company that makes them, so i guess this stock inside may be a little different than the G&P, but i use an intellect 9.6 and it fits fine, 9.6 make up the majority of crane stock batteries anyways.

Pros:
does its job
modest price

Cons:
alot of people dont get it
gotta put the battery in through the back

Product Information:
This stock fails so much. In comparison to the CA crane stock it is horrible. The knobs and the size of the battery compartments on the side are way too small. The plate in the back breaks with little use. Plus it can only fit smaller crane stock batteries. Not to mention its slope on the sides is way too steep. Just spend the extra money for the CA one. I love mine.

Product Information:
It's time to lay down some truth, since people seem to be insanely incompetent. I apologize for the caps, but as people tend to skim reviews, they need to see some points.

First off, this crane stock does it's job effectively and it feels and looks nice. The side 'wings' where the battery goes, like the real after market stock it's modeled after, gives wonderful cheek weld.

As long as you fit your wiring properly, there is no trouble with full range of retraction.

The 'wobble' as is often described, is very slight, and is that way to ensure you can actually slide the stock. It does not cause any trouble in use and is rock solid when against you. And, REAL GUN STOCKS WOBBLE. They do. It's true, they are THE SAME WAY.

Now, people, I hate to let you know, REAL STOCKS ARE PLASTIC. On real guns. Really. Get over it.

And finally, the big gripe on the G4 reviews. Getting the buttplate off to put a battery in. Take a few seconds to actually look at the thing. There are two turning sections on the forward end of the stock, if you remove the stock from the buffer tube, you can turn these (dont push or pull when turning, you have to line up the slots, same with when trying to close them, watch out or you will think it's stuck). Oh my god, viola! You can slide your battery right in and attach the wires, make sure everything is where it needs to be to prevent pinching, and slide the stock back on. Super easy, no pain. I repeat

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE BUTTPLATE OFF to install a battery. Use your head.

Pros:
Comfortable; great cheek weld.

Very solid poly plastic.

Great for rear wired guns to keep a lean gun look.

EASY TO INSTALL BATTERY

Cons:
Have to be careful with the wiring when putting the stock on, otherwise you can get pinching and it wont retract completely. This, however, is just the nature of fitting wires down a buffer tube.
