I have never been more pleased with an airsoft purchase in my life. This gun just screams quality from the moment you hold it and shoulder it. Wrecked so many people with this guy. Recommend for sure
- Metal but still lightweight
- fully upgradable
- comfortable to shoulder for longer periods of time
I own both the gen 1 and this gen 2 Avalon by VFC. They definitely made improvements from the first gen models. The magazine release is adjustable so you tune it to the type of magazines you run. I usually use PTS EMPs, but they have always been a hit or miss. I tuned it to my EPMs and i dont have any issues. The mosfet is nice to see out of the box. It isn't programmable like the Classic Army Nemesis or G&G ETU, but it helps give extra safety. The externals are what you would expect out of VFC. They are solid and light weight. This gun is worth every penny! The internals and much better than the old old VFC clear tappet plate and piston. These feel much better!
Standard V2 gearbox (Easy to upgrade)
Quick Change Spring
Rotary Style Hop Up
I dont really like the new trademarks. It reminds me of He-Man lol. But its not that big of an issue.
Highly recommend buying this gun!
I bought this as a potential upgrade/lateral promotion from my Krytac Trident MKII. While I appreciated the feel and handling of the gun, I was not impressed with the battery capacity and "cheeks" of the stock. You can't fit non-Li-Po batteries in the "cheeks" at all, and the cover caps and even the tubes fall off easily. All they had to do is increase the diameter of those tubes by 10-15% and the gun would have been perfect.
Returned it and bought the latest version of the Trident MKII
Hits hard, fast and accurate with a bit of hop up adjustment and .30-.32g BBs
Easily adjustable mag release
Stock will only fit Li-Po batteries in the "cheeks"
"Cheeks" and caps fall off far too easily
