Out of the box, the SOG-68 felt like a truly solid rifle. I own a couple rifles with metal bodies (one of which is a TM M4) so I wondered how this would compare. It is a sturdy rifle and I didn't notice any flexing or creaking of the rifle. Even with the stock extended there is no wobble that I noticed. The handguards are a snug fit and don't rotate while holding it. I encountered some minor issues but nothing that detracts from a stock rifle. First was the seeming inability to rear wire the rifle for a buttstock battery pouch due to the design of the telescoping A1/A2 stock. Second was the flashhider. I scraped the glue off of the grub screw and didn't realize until after I turned the flashhider a couple of turns that there was a second grub screw (also covered in glue). Fortunately it didn't ruin the threads on the outer barrel. Third, and lastly, I found the screw holes on the sides of the supplied high caps mildly detracting (pure cosmetic and obviously I can get different mags). Kudos to AGI for solid packaging and the quality control slip showing test fire and chrono reading. I even got four bb's that were left in a mag as a souvenir.
Pros:
Solid/Sturdy rifle, no flex
Comes with everything shy of bb's to get going.
Two high cap magazines.
NiMH battery included
Great CQB rifle
Cons:
Flashhider screws (2 of them) heavily glued in place
Design of rear stock requires more imagination to allow rear wiring.
I received this product from the ASGI BB wars mystery box. I'm not a fan of the design of the rifle but that's just prefferance so that will not be listed as pro or con. The number one thing that I like about the rifle is the internals. Absolutely AMAZING for the price. The shitty battery it comes with is garbage though. Like putting a V-6 in a Ferrari. When you slap a 11.1 LIPO it's truely amazing. Now I just gotta get new externals.
Pros:
LIPO ready
Polymer build
Great ROF (18) 11.1 LIPO
Great trigger response w/ LIPO
EXTREMELY ACCURATE
ZERO WHINE. Already perfectly shimmed. Snappy (with LIPO)
Cons:
Not much
That orange flash hider (duh) (glue)
Crappy battery it comes with
This gun is AMAZING, it is extremely accurate and has really nice ROF of 16. It has a nice weight to it too, it's made of really nice polymer. The magazines included are also very reliable it always feeds the bbs an you only need to wind 1-2 times to shoot the whole magazine. Has great range for its size also.
Pros:
Shoots 60-90 feet accurately
sturdy rifle
great quality internal and External
Metal magazines
Great hop up out of box
Cons:
Small battery compartment
Nothing else just great gun

Yes. I bought a Barska 4x20 M16 Electro Sight Riflescope AC10838. Mounts to the carrying handle. Has a range adjustment knob that works great for quick adjustment on the field.

What is the threads?
I'm thinking about purchasing one and I like the vn stile but it would look cooler with a mock suppressor in my opinion
