The blowback feature on the G&G MK5A4 is like extra icing on an already delicious cake. The G&G MK5 is already the best looking, best performing, and most reliable MK5 available. Now, G&G has added their state-of-the-art blowback system, and the noise it makes is like music to the ear. G&G has out done themselves with this MK5; unlike many other airsoft MK5s the G&G has a functional cocking lever, bolt catch, and bolt cover. As the cocking lever is pulled back and locked in place the bolt cover retracts; give the cocking lever a smack and it creates the most satisfying metal clang as the bolt cover slams shut. The body pins common to other airsoft MK5s have been replaced with more authentic push pins that allow for realistic field stripping. This is, without a doubt, the only MK5 anybody should own.

no one has done a review on this so i decided i would.
ive had the gun about 2-3 weeks now and love it. it has a realistic look even being plastic.
it has a very nice weight to it with the battery in the stock.
one thing i didnt know before ordering it tho is that it takes a large type battery not a small.
but if you take off the stock by removing the rear pin, you can detach the small to large battery extension cord and plung in your mini's. i did this the week i waited to get my intellect 8.4v 4200mah.
another thing thats great about it is the barrel threads. it comes with built in counter clockwise threads which are great for a silencer or noveske. its also very easy to take apart. the thing i had the hardest time with was the selector switch removal and assembley. the mag is alittle wobbly but thats to be expected, as it happens in almost every gun. one last thing it the accuracy and blowback system. after ajusting the hop-up to your liking, its a very accurate gun. i run it with .2-.23 and find them the best to maintain accuracy and range. the blowback system isnt the greatest thing while firing bb's. but if you empty the gun and use your finger to plug the end of the barrel, the slide will fully "blowback" and return to its closed postion. the charging handle is very study as well and works great.
all in all its a great gun. its pretty much complete metal with an exception to the forgrip, stock, and pistol grip. the body is such a hard plastic and 'metal' like you wont even know the difference. ive only had one problem with it and i found out it was because of a broken battery. this is my first mp5 series gun and love it for what it is.
Pros:
accurate
realistic feel and weight
barrel threads
takes small and large batterys
easy to dissassemble
easy to reassemble
crisp trigger pull on semi auto
blowback
Cons:
wobbly mag
kind of cheap feeling front sling swivel
kind of a let down on the blow back-not really what i expected
becareful with the selector disassembly and reassembly i almost broke mine
this gun has a great realistic feel to it,
it is sturdy and effective.
this gun would deffinatley be a good cqb gun and even a
decent field gun the
bullets have a very accurate after 100 ft. and decent after 120
works great w/ PHX 9.6v 1800 mAh battery
BOTTOM LINE I WOULD GET THIS GUN IF U ARE LOOKIN FOR A GOOD SMALL GUN OR A MP5
Pros:
medium fps
good range/grouping
removable outer barrel for extension
blow back is very realistic
ambidextrous selector switch
Cons:
medium amount of battery room
hard to get butt plate off first time
I got this gun right when it released but have not got the chance to write a review for it. Here it is...it came out at a perfect time since I was looking for a MP5 replica. And to top it off, it is blowback. I placed my order and a week later I got the gun. I opened the box and to my surprise there was no battery...my fault since the website never said it included batteries. But I got the battery out of one of my other guns only to find out that this gun has a LARGE connector...so I had to order a connector piece to connect the large connection to my small battery. Once i got my connector piece, the gun wouldn't fire. I called the store to see what was wrong with it and as it turns out this gun may very well require 9.6 volt battery to turn the motor. I got myself a 9.6 and it's working good. However, this doesn't make any sense since the manual that came with this gun says that it would support an 8.4 battery. It is an average gun.
Pros:
335 FPS, gets you into most CQB fields
Nice charging handle...slapping it all the time!
Nice sound
Sturdy build
Cons:
Blowback is not that impressive
No battery included
Takes large battery types
Almost entirely plastic
Ugly orange metal tip
