Once again OE TECH has satisfied my needs in Airsoft gear. All this really is, is a single open top M16 pouch with a pistol mag pouch MOLLE'd on to it but without the MOLLE. So now i can hold 2 magazines for the price of one (the OE TECH Single M16 Open top by itself is $10). This pouch matches exactly to the color of my other OE TECH OD gear. The back of the pouch has the MOLLE straps to attach it to your vest AND its own MOLLE loops (just like every other OE TECH pouch has) to weave the straps through the vest's MOLLE and the pouch's MOLLE for a VERY tight fit to your vest. The top of the pouch has the traditional bungie cord and pull tab to secure your M16 mag. The bungie cord is also adjustable (via knot on the back of the pouch) in length so if you have those longer 450 round mags then you wont stretch the cord. The pistol part of the pouch, however, doesn't have a bungie cord, it has a fold down Velcro flap to secure your pistol mag. To even further secure the pistol mag it has an elastic band going around it to provide a tight fit for any size and shape mag. the Velcro flap can also be adjusted for the height of the pistol mag via Velcro on the back of the pistol mag section. this pouch is very useful when trying to save MOLLE space and adds a little bit of variety to the look of your vest so you don't just see MOLLE loops running all over the vest. My only complaint with this product is that my M16 mag slides down into the pouch and stops right at the edge of the fabric so when I want to pull it out I have to push it out from the bottom of the pouch. This can be fixed with a MagPul, but I have a sling so iI can drop my gun and use both hands to access the mag.

M16 mag slips down into pouch, but its no biggy for me and nothing a MagPul can't fix.

I have been using the Kangaroo magazine pouches from Condor for about 2 years now and I love them. I don’t run 142 magazines on my rig so not having the double stack M4 magazines was not an issue for me. Having the pistol magazine pouches on top worked much better for my setup. The M4 pouches secure a single magazine very well and with the bungee cord retention it works great. The thing I like the most is that it saves you room on your vest and keeps everything in front of you and is easily accessible when you need it. I run a triple and double kangaroo pouch giving me 5 m4 magazines, 2 pistol magazines, a multi tool, a flashlight, and a knife all in the real estate that would normally just have fallen to primary magazines.

Pros:
Price is right on these pouches and Condor quality has not let me down yet. No wear and tear to show after almost 2 years of use.
The retention is great with the bungee cord and Velcro over the pistol pouches.
Being able to free up space by stacking pistol mag on top of primary is really nice.


Cons:
If you run a lot of primary magazines this might not be for you.
If you don’t run a side arm then you probably don’t need pistol magazine pouches although they are handy for other tools.
