I was very excited when this gun came in. I have had many airsoft guns in the past and the Classic Army SIG 552 Airsoft gun is the best yet. It is very good quality and defiantly worth the $189.99. The shipping was very cheap and came in 3 days. Overall a very nice quality and good looking airsoft gun.
Pros:
Good Price at $189.99
Good Quality Airsoft gun
CQB and Field
360 FPS
hi cap mag 220 rounds
Full Metal
Ambidextrous
Rail
Cons:
The only con with the Classic Army SIG 552 Airsoft gun is that the hi cap 220 round magazine cracked in half because I accidentally dropped it on a rock but I got another on for a great price off of Airsoft GI
Alright gun, got the wrong battery for it, I am going to use it as a movie prop for my Audio/Video class.
Pros:
Cool looking. clear mag to see how many bb's you have left, can also attach another mag to a mag for faster reload.
Cons:
Rear stock wiggles, battery compartment is really small.
The Classic Army Sig 552 is an assault rifle class airsoft gun with a foldable frame stock. Firing at upwards of 350-365 fps, this airsoft gun is classified as an AEG. While perfectly capable of functioning with a normal Ni-Cd battery, the achievable rate of fire is greatly increased when using a Li-Po type battery. This airsoft gun features an integrated rail system beneath the stock for mounting a foregrip, or laser module. There is also a top rail for optical systems. With an effective range between 65-75 ft with the stock barrel, the grouping weighs in at about 7-10 inches in diameter.
Pros:
Great rate of fire with upgraded Li-Po
CQB rated FPS at most fields
Functional as Field Rifle
Accurate at a good field distance
Lightweight
Foldable stock for tight quarters
Rails on both bottom forward grip, and top of receiver
Forward mounted battery
Cons:
Grouping scatters at range
Flash Hider is nearly impossible to remove
Foregrip may require reinforcing in order to stay secure

what batteries will actually fit in this gun?
I am aware that the battery compartment for this gun is small, and I have heard that most batteries that other companies recommend do not fit in this gun. So, before I buy it, I would like to know the type of battery recommended for this rifle

You will most likely need a 7.4 LiPo battery such as this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=11915 3649 days ago 0
