The Action Army CNC Aluminum Hop-Up Chamber uses a new tension system to apply pressure to the fired BB, this makes the trajectory of the BB is much more consistent after every shot over the original hop up chamber. This tension system is controlled by a screw that goes through the bottom of the hop up chamber with the magazine removed, rather than the top and maintains tension much more efficiently than the stock unit. Been waiting a while since I got my CA LTR for an after market hop unit. This thing doesn't disappoint. With my maple leaf 70 bucking I'm hitting targets at 275-300 feet with 46 bbs. just waiting on the AA barrel to complete the build.
Pros:
Awesome range.

Cons:
no easy to adjust on the fly. make adjustments before gameplay.
Not an install project for a novice player.

Will this work in the gen 2?
I know the title says gen 1, but will this work in the gen2/fluted version of the rifle? If not could you please direct me to a unit that will? thanks!

Will this stop the BB from rolling back into the compression chamber?
If you cock the gun while it's pointed upward in any way a BB will sometimes roll into the compression chamber causing a jam.
