Product Information:
Amazing gun for the price. beats a lot of guns at that price range, and I was very impressed at the internals and externals for this gun
Pros:
- Full metal body
- full metal internals (except the piston is plastic which is normal, and the piston teeth are plastic, which you might want to change)
- High FPS (which could be a con if your local field does not allow it)
-extremely durable and high quality
- good rear sling mount (which is good for me because all other guns I have owned at this price range had cheap rear sling mounts and broke, but this one hold up great)
-pretty easy to take apart
- if you are not an optic user, the iron sights are really good, and if you are a optic user, the rear iron sight flips down, so it is out of the way
- fully upgradeable
Cons:
-anti reversal latch broke and caused gun to double feed, but wasn't too hard to fix
-piston teeth are plastic (which I suppose is standard for a stock gun)
-the mag catch doesn't hold mags in very well, the mags wobble a bit in your gun, but nothing major
-bolt catch broke :( now I can't do the awesome m4 bolt catch slap anymore :'(

Will .25 or higher g bbs slow down fps enough for cqb
I have a lancer tactical that shoots 460 fps with .2g bb I'm thinking of getting this for my birthday and would like to know if using heavier bbs would slow down the fps enough to use in cqb

Changing the BB weight to lower your FPS to meet a field limit is cheating and should not be done. Even though your initial muzzle velocity is slower, the entire BB itself will still have a ton of weight and energy behind it, and theoretically, can be even more dangerous. Guns are measured with a standard .20g BB as a guideline. Changing your spring is the best way to lower FPS. 2129 days ago 0
