The Model 1892 was a lever-action repeating rifle designed by John Moses Browning as a successor to the Model 1886. The '86 was designed, at the time, for the larger hunting and military cartridges of the 1800's, and as soon as it was released, the call went out for a smaller, more compact lever rifle suitable for pistol calibers. Even today, the Model 1892 is regarded by many to the smoothest, handiest, and best performing lever-action rifle in the world.

A&K has done an incredible job transforming all of this legendary quality and craftsmanship into the world of airsoft. The A&K 1892 gas Lever Action airsoft gun is constructed primarily from metal, with real wood furniture, giving it an excellent feel and realistic weight. The lever action functions in very much the same way as its real steel counterpart, and the 25 round tubular magazine is built into the side of the gun, just like the real thing. The rear and front sight are both metal, and extremely loyal to the real 1892, making this airsoft gun an incredibly realistic replica, which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but fully functional for airsoft as well.
