I've had this Scar-h for a little over a week now and let me tell you, I am not disappointed. It is worth every penny (I got it on sale for $200) but the original $389.99 price tag is appropriate. It has its small quirks like the battery space is ridiculous and I have no idea why VFC didn't make it a little bigger. I had to remove the bottom end cap of my battery pack and wrap it in electrical tape to make it fit, but once I did it slid right in. The selector switch also sometimes likes to get stuck in safety when shooting in Semi (it rarely happens, only 3 times in the week I've owned it and the first two times were right after I had just recieved it and taken it out of the box) but a quick switch to Full auto and back to semi seems to do the trick. It really isn't that big of a deal but not something you'd expect from a $400 AEG. Not to mention its a bit heavy when you're swinging it around during games but if anything that's a good thing considering the rifle is solidly built, no bends, cracks, or shaking. And if you're into realism, this rifle should keep you happy. But despite all it's "problems" if you can even call them that, It is a great rifle and really worth the buy. Plus I mean, it's a Scar so...sex appeal

The gun's externals are fantastic, no doubt one of the best replica out there. Having owned a g&p gbb m4 short, I must say, the scar is very lightweight for its size(being bigger than my m4 short). Thanks to the polymer lower reciever. I'm liking the accuracy of the vfc scar, as well as the decent fps (340-360) with .25g bbs. However, I was disappointed with the gun's condition when I unboxed it. The gas block was wobbly, the stock was wobbly, the base of the stock was loose and after testing it, the stock broke off(Huge disappointment). The front sight was tilted to the left by so much, I decided to just take it off. (Replacing it with a magpull flipup sight. with little effort, I was able to tighten all the lose parts of the gun, it was a simple fix also the stock, It was tidious to properly reinstall but it was also simple. After my quick fix, the gun is wobble free, not one bit. It looks great and performs great.
Pros:
-Anodized aluminium upper reciever.
-monolithic upper rail.
-polymer lower reciever.(looks great)
-gas block tool.
-lightweight.
-accuracy.
-no wires running through the buttstock, when folded.
-nice fieldstrip.
Cons:
-Buttstock wiring.
-lose gun parts. (Easy fix)
-tilted front sight. (It may just be mine though) |

this is a great gum it was my first scar and couldn't be happier
I like the folding stock and the upper rail
I wish it had more bottom rail space because it only has like 8" and with my magpul angled foregrip I have like 2"s left
Pros:
nice weight
shoots at least 100'
shoots at around 385 fps
all metal gun except the stock and lower receiver (like the real one)
easy for lefties
Cons:
fuse blows quick
paint is easy to scratch
battery can get stuck
if you turn it when shooting from left the stock folds over after a while |

Pros:
very great internals for a cqb size barrel getting at least 150 feet, great externals body is rock solid
Cons:
the only con i have with the gun is the ejection port slide broke by bending from the me racking the charging handle to adjust hop up other than that great gun |

This gun is amazingly accurate and fantastic. The fps chromosomes down to 395-400. It really pack a punch( so much I dented someone's fast helmet and it was still lodged in the side!)
Pros:
Packs a punch
Enough rail space
Can fit a 9.6 crane stock battery
All metal magazine
Cons:
To heavy on bb throw

First off, I'm writing this review to hopefully clear some things up about this gun. When I first opened it, It was an absolute beauty; the pictures on here underestimate it's looks. Full trademarks and all! If anything, the thing that I don't like is this warning sticker on the left side of the gun. Don't worry though, There's actually a warranty seal on the inside of the magazine well, so I don't think that the warranty would be void if you take off the sticker... although I wouldn't just to be safe. The upper receiver is made out of high quality aluminum (possibly CNC) and the lower is made out of very well made plastic that I find excellent.
Another thing that I would like to clear up is the battery space: I read the reviews on this gun and I thought they were just complaining about how they couldn't fit a 10v battery in it, but when i opened up the space, I found it to be REALLY small. I couldn't fit my 9.6v mini in there, and I don't think others would work besides an 8.4. What I would strongly recommend is a 7.2v LiPo battery to get so you can still have the power of a 9.6v while in a small size.
Overall, this gun is fantastic: the performance, externals and all. I don't recommend this to beginners however because the idea of getting a LiPo since it doesn't come with a battery.

I LOVE THIS GUN!!! I have wanted this gun forever and thanks to Airsoft GI's awesome savings trifecta I finally got to purchase it! First impression wasn't that great, the box was torn, it did NOT come with the proper Scar-H flash hider, instead it came with the standard M4 flash hider which made me pretty mad! Also the wiring on this gun is VERY thin and long and I was afraid to bend them thinking that they would just snap! Also the fuse it comes with is HUGE and it is impossible to fit any kind of battery in there with the big fuse and super long wires. No problem for me though, I just cut the wires super short, bypassing the fuse and wiring it to Dean's! Now I have no problem's with the wiring. This gun has an amazing ROF and trigger response with just a 9.6v 1600mah battery!!! Has average range with it's 340mm long 6.04mm inner barrel and has 14mm counter clockwise threads on the outer barrel. You cannot use iron sights very easily if you're wearing a face mask. My gun chronoed at 363 with .20's and shoots 20 rps with a 9.6v!!

I bought this gun recently and when it came in the mail i thought it was amazing. it doesnt come with a battery so when you buy it, be sure to buy a battery first too. when i got my battery and fired it for the first time, it was awesome. but the only problem was the getting the battery inside the stock with all the wires. it would fit more easier when was adjusted to a longer setting. but for shorter people and those who like a short stock, it will be hard to get the battery in. the wires were really weak and when you cram all of it into a little space, then can break easily. so be careful when fitting the wires in. because then the gun wont work

Cons:
battery is difficult to fit inside
doesnt come with a battery (mine didnt)
