For: Open Box Gun 0072 Product Information:
I recived this gun two days ago. When I picked up the box I was very supprised by the weight of it. I then took the gun out and examined all of it while I waited for my battery to charge. I was very impressed with the quality of the externals. The all metal frame is its best feature. I also love the armalite trademarks. When I took it out to shoot I was pleased with the rate of fire but not so much with the range or accuracy. I was somewhat dissiponted because one of the resons that I bought it was for the range. I went inside and read in the manual about letting the hop get broken in. The next morning when I took it out to shoot I was very pleased with the range. I was getting out to 150-170 feet accuratley. With a little arch you could get lucky and hit someone from 200ft. The rate of fire had also improved from the day before. I have owned many AEGs most utgs and an ICS mp5. This was my first classic army and it has blown the rest of those guns out of the water.
Pros:
great range
great rated of fire
stock is huge and can hold just about any size battery
full metal frame
full armalite trademarks
Cons:
the hop up takes a few hundered rounds to get broken in, but thats nothing major. |

For: Open Box Gun 0072 When I first received this gun I was very pleased with the overall look and feel of the gun. It was very sturdy and it would live up to its name. However the Hi-Cap mag that came with it caused some major problems. I have had teammates who have a CA say do NOT use the magazine that comes with it. I understand why now. While i was testing the gun out in the middle of firing the Hi-Cap just unloaded into my gun causing the gears to strip completely. I sent it back and received a new gearbox.
Now I only use a TM standard mag, 5 STAR standard mag, and 5 STAR M16VN mag and the gun could never be better. It takes about 500 rounds before the gun reachs its potential. After the first 500 I was very pleased with the gun's performance. It was 305 Fps when I did a test on my chrono. The range was about 100 yards accuate with a punch. the RoF is very impressive.
Despite a rough start the CA M15A4 Rifle has really made me proud in many Mil/Sim events. It is easily customizable.I like the basic look though =). Just remember oil after every use and NEVER use the mag that comes with it.
P.S.
It gives the option above to get another Hi-Cap mag but I never recived it. You may want to check with ASGI about that. |

For: Open Box Gun 0072 Ah this was my first ever AEG I got it in late 2000, and it just stopped working not two months ago, the only reason I didn't repair it is it was just cheaper to get a new one(there was a lot broken, I'm not gentle with AEGs). I now carry a CA SLR105, but nothing will ever replace this guns place in history since I was the first one of us with an AEG. I strongly recommend this gun it will last you for years. |

For: Open Box Gun 0072 I FREAKIN LOVE THIS GUN!!!!
It was my first AEG, has seen over 50 games over 3 yrs, and I have not touched the internals. I recommend this gun to serious airsoft players. It is very similar to the real thing and ultra reliable.
idk what happened why so many people dislike CA, but I know that I would take a CA over almost any other brand (except, maybe, G&G)
In short, ultra durable and reliable, good FPS, nice externals, and awsome realistic looks, I would recommend this gun to anyone. |

For: Open Box Gun 0072 I would like to tell the people who believe that all CA's are crap are dead wrong. All the people that I play with that have owned a CA for over 4 years have said that it has never let them down. I have this gun, but I used a marginally high power spring in it, and the gearbox cracked. But that is not Classic Army's fault. It is the version 2 gearbox in it. When the new SystemA gearbox comes out. I will put one in my gun. The m15a4 by Classic Army is one of the best airsoft purchases you can make. |

For: Open Box Gun 0072 This weapon is probably the most feared on the airsoft battlefield where I play (apart from the CA SAW), and out of all of the box-stock AEG's I have seen in person this has the most range and highest fire rate of all. It is very solid and rugged, with absolutley no squeaks or rattles. The markings are beautiful, and the fixed stock allows very large batteries (like the 9.6v 4200mah) to be used. The motor is very quiet, and continually spits BB's out without putting an un-necessary drain on the battery (although if one were to upgrade any farther than a 110 spring you would want a high-torque motor). Although because of the ease of maintinence of the split-gearbox design I personally use an ICS-M4 (and while that is my favorite airsoft weapon of all), I have learned to tread very carefully when facing this weapon. It Is perfect for a DM or a sniper-spotter team, and even though people complain that it is long and heavy, I have seen and heard from many Marines who report that in real life they have very few problems wielding the full length M16A4 (which this replica is modeled after)in CQB situations when necessary.
In conclusion, as long as you do not regularly play at CQB events (or as long as you have teamates armed with more compact weapons) and if you want to play the role of Designated Marksman, this may be your weapon. |
