As a first time GBB owner, I've used spring, gas and real steel pistols, and I was still impressed by the USPc as soon as I picked it up from the box.
Loaded, the gun weighs a bit under 2.5 lbs and feels balanced and firm in the hand. The handgrip extension on the magazine is wonderful, as the grip itself would be too short for any full size hand.
I had heard that KWA guns ship quite dry (little grease on the slide) and I found this to be true. Definitely remove the slide and grease the internals before using. The slide still sticks sometimes but regular use with green gas and good maintenance is reducing this problem and it seems like it will go away within about a week of use.
Overall this firearm makes an excellent sidearm or CQB weapon; when maintained, a consistent hop-up and high performance ensure that the gun will cause less misses than your own aim does. However, for anyone not accustomed to the operation of GBBs or actual firearms, the realism can be overwhelming, and I would recommend a simpler gun for a first time buyer.
The KWA warranty requires you use green gas with the pistol, and I concur that this is the wisest for this particular gun.
Surprising range, accuracy, and consistency, even with hop-up engaged
Slide comes "dry"
Action sticks if not maintained
Requires experience to operate
