Product Information:
The only reason why you wouldn't buy this sling is because you already have something similar or you are very happy with your current weapon retention setup. Otherwise don't waste your time with other slings, this one is absolutely the champ. I've been through a tremendous number of slings; 1 point, 2 point, 3 point including some of the more gimmicky ones. The Mission Spec Irene Adaptive sling is by far the sturdiest, simplest and most useful sling I have tried. It's also one of the cheapest high end slings I've found. Even if you don't care about slinging your weapon behind your back to stow it (and that's awesome by the way) this sling is still perfect. Chances are, if you are reading this review it means you either don't have a sling yet or aren't happy with your weapon retention setup, so save yourself some time, add this to your cart, don't worry about slings ever again.

Pros:
-- Very sturdy and dependable. The material is high quality and I don't expect the hooks to ever get tired of holding my heavier weapons.
-- The stowing capability (watch the video!) is fantastic. I didn't really have a decent way to use my Echo 1 Task Force Black Mp5k as a sidearm because it is too damn heavy to use in a leg holster. This sling allows me to stow it tight against my body where it wont flop around yet I can still access it on a moment's notice.
-- Easy to use - The hooks will give you a 'wtf' moment the first time you see them but 5 minutes later you will wish every other sling hook was the same way. If you want it even easier get a QD sling adapter and bask in your own ease of awesomeness.

Cons:
- The only con I'm going to mention, and its less of a con and more of a "be wary of..." is something that many other slings share and this one will suffer from a bit more because of the stowing nature. It rubs against your neck a bit (not to big a deal). This is exacerbated when sliding the sling around your body to stow your weapon. The probably only affects people like myself who roll light with very little to no padding or body armor, so my neck is nice and exposed for the material the sling is made of to rub against. This is in noway a dig on the sling since all the other slings I've used had similar issues and didnt have the awesome stowing ability, so I never tried to slide them around my back. Just a heads up.
