Ok, so I finally got my M16 up and running for testing. Let me start out by saying I have a G&G M16 A3 and thats what I used to test the barrel.
Again I am testing Airsoft GI's 6.01mm precision barrels. They seemed to be made out of Aluminum. They are thick like the Prometheus barrels not thin like a mad bull. It fit right in and was the correct length.
I tested it at 100ft, 160ft, and 200ft. Ranges were measured. No to little crosswind.
At 100ft it was 10 for 10 with about a 8 inch target. The flightpath was straight and level.
At 160ft it was still 10 for 10 with a 12 inch target. With the hop up on and the round came up slightly and the dropped back down when it stalled out just as the BB hit the target.
At 200ft it was 8 for 10 with a 16 inch target.
Also, you could still hit area targets at about 200ft + ranges, however you needed to Kentucky wind it and I doubt someone would feel it if they hit them. It would keep their head down though and you might get a lucky shot.
Over all I am very happy with the performance of the barrel, especially for the cost. If you have another questions let me know. I highly recommend this barrel, especially over a mad bull and a Prometheus, both of which are good barrels in their own right. This one is simply better in cost and performance.
