Have you ever had one of those projects that you've planned for a long time, and then things just don't go well? This rail is the center of one of those projects. I bought them to install on my KWA KM4 SR10. First impressions upon opening the box are favorable. The rail and their attaching hardware are beautiful. The finish on the rails themselves is silky smooth. This contrasts to the finish on a set of Madbull Noveske NSR rails my son installed on his G&G. They were very rough feeling and the finish looks worn after a few uses. The anodized finish on these rails seems durable, and has held up well so far during a very rough install process. My first complaint concerns my KM4 as much as the rails. The base for the rails would not slide over the threads on the upper receiver. The barrel retention nut would not thread onto the upper receiver either. The threads on the receiver were too big. Contrast this again with the Noveske rails my son used. The Noveske rails were able to be used on both his G&G and his KM4. I had to have the threads on my upper receiver tapped by my local airsoft shop to enable the DD rails to fit. My KM4 is a generation newer than my son’s KM4 so that may be where the problem lies. KWA has a bad habit of using proprietary components which makes using them as a basis for a modified weapon risky. My second complaint is with the rails themselves. I have not been able to install a single one of my rail mounted accessories without modification. I have Magpul XTM Enhanced rail covers which will only fit on the top rail. Even squeezing the rail covers with pliers will not force them closed. A PTS GoGun Gas Pedal had to be filed before I could slide it on the rails. I use Mission First Tactical React Short Vertical Grip and Magwell Grip. Both of these installed, but the jaws have a noticeable gap even when their screws are fully tightened. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this product.

-No rail mounted accessories would fit without some modification or it would result in a too tight fit.
