I am 49 y.o. and I spent 5 years working professionally in the firearms trade as a salesman, store manager and gunsmith. I have been a journeyman gunsmith for more than 20 years.
I have shot in competition in iron sight military matches at ranges from 100 to 600 yards.
Though not a veteran (I was 4F, medically unfit due to asthma), I have been lucky enough to have many good friends in the services and have had opportunities to handle and live fire many select fire weapons, among them the H&K MP5 (std and SD, suppressed, versions); the M14 and M16 (both A1 and A2) to name a few.

Pros:
An excellent production quality for a primarily plastic construction.

--Metal, magnesium and steel, are used where needed for durability and strength plastic would not provide. IE: The flimsy wire stock is bad enough made out of steel, but as it is a duplicate of the real one and is therefore completely acceptable.
--Accuracy is acceptable for what is basically a 4.5 inch barreled pistol with extremely rudimentary sights. The real M11A1 is a room broom designed for very close in target rich environments and was never really intended to be an "accurate" firearm. Again, very acceptable based on the original design specs and intended real world use.
--Excellent weight and feel overall, really excellent looking and VERY fun to shoot.

Overall I am completely pleased with the quality, look, fit and function of this airsoft replica of the MAC M11A1 .380 select fire machine pistol. I have had a ball shooting it for myself and in showing it off to friends. But... nothing is perfect and here is a report of the issues I have had over the course of my 1st 4000 rounds.

(1) A minor fall from a coffee table broke the front sight (part #8) into 4 pieces. I was able to crazy glue it back together, but metal would have, at the most been bent slightly.

(2) After about 2000 rounds I noticed the gas port slider (part #6) was no longer retracting correctly and I found the spring retaining pin (part #64) was missing. Most likely it fell out of the receiver and I did not see it as I was not watching for such a small pin when I stripped the weapon down. I cut a roll pin to replace this. I then found that due to the high rate of fire, the replacement roll pin had also jumped out of place, so I cut a slightly longer replacement roll pin, for a tighter fit. At 4000 rounds, I have not seen any further issue with this spring retaining pin... so far.

(3) At 4000 rounds I am seeing the beginnings of unacceptable wear at the sear faces on the bolt carrier (part #5). The magnesium sear (part #16) is wearing the plastic sear notch in the carrier excessively due to the metal to plastic instead of metal to metal contact. The wear is excessive, but so far has not affected function. But if it continues, which it will, one day it may become a real issue.

Other than that, I am as I said, very pleased with this product and I feel anyone would feel the same if they were willing to part with the very agreeable price for this wonderful airsoft replica of the MAC M11A1 .380 select fire machine pistol.
