I bought this to go with my JG G36c about a year ago.
I bought the scope primarily due to the larger diameter (42mm) and the clear covers.
I know the covers will not stop a BB, but they will keep the main lenses from getting dirty and scratched so I can leave them down and use the scope.
The brightness settings are very good, I usually keep mine around 5 for mix of shade / sun. Highest I have ever had to put it on is 7 in an open field assault.
Getting the red dot lined up did take a while, I started before mounting it just eye balling it center (came far off). Then I mounted it and went prone in my backyard. Distance was about 60 feet maybe 70 and got it dialed in with about 20 bb's and a few adjustments.
As this was short range when I went out to play I went a little early to shoot greater distances and had to tweak it a little more but ever since then it has stead dead on for me and been a great buy.
Clear covers so you can leave them down and keep your lenses clean.
Easy to install on a variety of guns.
42mm diameter allows for one eye down the scope and the other eye open for peripheral vision.
Plenty of light and a good view.
Getting it dialed in can be a little hard and a few times I turned the wrong adjustment as they were not labeled...Not a huge deal.
