I bought this scope about two weeks ago and it's served me well for the whole time. The rubber caps come off completely with a little tug so you can take them off if they get in your way(or you hate them). The several levels of brightness are great for different scenarios.
*^*I try to be as specific as I can, so some of the things that happend to me, may not happen to you.*^*
Now to the pros and cons...
-Quite easy to zero in. It took me at most 3 minutes.
-The rubber caps serve their purpose well and have saved many scuffs and galges from rough wear n' tear.
-Easy to adjust sensativity.
-Holds strong on any rail system, the "clamps" adjust forward and backward as needed.
-My only problem is that the on-off knob started off very snug, and has now become quite loose and the dot cuts off several times when I'm aiming while moving. Then again, I've definately put this sight to the test.
