this is very easy to install, however I do see where you are coming from. I was new once, and i'm still new. but its easy to install

Assuming you have bought the chamber and nothing else, you will need 3 things to get this working

-The actual hop up chamber, and all its accessories (especially the little bead or rubber that it comes with, DO NOT LOSE THAT)

- An actual hop up buckling, Definately go with systema or prometheus. On first choice go with systema, but if its not available, go with prometheus, or on a last resort, get guarder. Stay away from G+P and Madbull

and of couse you will need a barrel. It doesn't have to be a tightbore obviously.

now for the actual procedure

take the barrel, and find the part with the groove in it. Get the buckling, and find the groove on it. If all is right, the grooves should line right up, and the the little "hole" in the barrel should be covered by the buckling. However, the grooves MUST line up, otherwise the hop up thing is worthless.

so line the grooves up, and slide the buckling onto the barrel. Beware, the guarder silicon buckling is quite stubborn, and might require some silicon grease. The systema buckling will slide in quite easily.

next, after you've got step 1 + 2 done, you stuff the hop up buckling (with the barrel obviously) into the actual chamber. Now this part HAS to be done right. The groove on the barrel, that is alligned with the hop up buckling, should be pointed DOWN as you push it into the chamber.

Once that is done, you basically just start putting everything in its place. however there is one more important step that also defeats the purpose of the hop up, if it is done incorrectly.

The little bead of rubber (that I mentioned earlier) should go "on top" of the buckling. this is kind of hard to do, but it is not impossible.

take the chamber and look down into it withOUT the top white piece that goes on. you take the rubber bead and set it on the part of the buckling that you see. It HAS to be on the buckling. then when you are done with that, you put everything together.

if you got the systema buckling, there is a brass ring that comes with it. all you do on that, is slide it from the tip of the barrel and slide it down into the chamber. Don't force it though.

Hoped this helped, if there are any other questions concerning this. Write another review.
