Product Information:
I bought this to replace the stock JG stock on my G3 and I'm pretty happy. It adds a little more "uniqueness" to your gun. This stock has a lot more room in it for your battery compared to the JG stock but this has 2 downsides. The plastic is thinner as a result but it is a higher quality plastic so it doesn't take away too much from the durability but it flexes compared to JG. Next the JG stock has foam glued to the sides to silence your battery when it is moving around inside and the G&G stock does not. This causes your battery to rattle around in the stock. A fix could easily be conceived for this and you definitely have enough room to do whatever you want but it is kind of annoying because your available space will go down (I should mention even without the foam the G&G is still bigger then the JG). A nice feature is the sling mount on this version compared to the JG. On the JG it is located on the side and is plastic but this one is metal, it rotates, and is located on the bottom. I have never used a sling with it so I can't say if it works better (the position, not the mount's strength) but I believe it just comes down to player preference.

There are a couple more things worth pointing out. First is that the butt pad is not rubberized like the JG one is but you can replace it with the JG one which fits on although it is not as tight as the G&G pad. Second is that the metal part that attaches to the gun is of a slightly different black then the body. It's more shiny while the body is more matte but it's not a huge deal. Finally the pins which lock the stock in place on the body do not fill me with a lot of confidence as far as them staying in during a game. The JG pins have screw on ends which secure them in place but they are plastic so they might break if you are too rough with them. The G&G ones are full metal and just pop into place and held by an internal tab. You can use the JG ones just like you can reuse the stock so its up to you what you want to do.

Pros:
larger battery compartment
plastic is more durable
more "tactical" look
metal sling attachment point

Cons:
butt pad is not rubberized
nothing to silence the battery
stock pins may not stay in place
could be a bit more affordable
