Review of CM.036
Easy fixes for some of the guns problems.
1. Buy the real wood stock version or spend another 55$ buying and installing a real wood stock set.
2. Buy a D-Boys or Classic Army mag to reduce magazine wobble.
3. Buy a flash hider and remove that hideous orange muzzle compensator.
Overall I suggest buying the full wood version. But this is a very nice mid price gun that performs well and has a very solid feel and rustic look.
Very nice quality metal all throughout the gun.
Good quality ABS pistol grip.
Shoots out of the box with standard 8.4v battery (440 fps).
Very impressed with how authentic and realistic looking it is. Compared it to my REAL Romanian WASR-10 Ak-47 and looks almost identical.
The weight is very nice feeling if you are into realism.
Overall very solid feeling gun.
I highly suggest putting in that little extra cash for a real wood version of this gun. The plastic stock feels a bit fragile and the wood grain looks rather cheep on the plastic.
There is a bit of magazine wobble, however I dont believe this to be a fault of the gun because I ordered a D-Boys mag along with the gun and it fits nice and tight even better than the stock mag.
The battery is the most pain in the A$$ thing about the gun, getting it in the stock takes time and effort. I felt as if I was going to break that silly connection trying to get that ting in the stock.
The paint scratches rather easily.
The orange tip is bright orange and very poor plastic quality.
