Product Information:
I haven't had this gun for very long, but I am quite impressed. I bought this to use when me and my friends play TTT, or Trouble in Terrorist Town, a really fun game mode. Since it is so close quartered, we use spring pistols at the start until we spread out and find some guns. I have been using my first spring pistol that I bought at Wal-Mart. It was decent, but it broke when I dropped it during a game. I needed a gun or else I would have to use an even worse spring M4 that my friend owned and couldn't get rid of, so I bought this. It came in only 5 days (thanks Airsoft GI!) so I had it for the next game my friends and I went to. This gun is a beauty. Not only is it realistic, but it fires very nicely.
Pros:
-Beautiful design. It is extremely realistic. Cocking the gun moves the hammer back, and the hammer flies forward when the trigger is pulled. The hammer moves back and forward again when you pull the trigger without cocking the gun, so it makes it look like a bullet is chambered and shot. Also, when you go to cock the gun, there are pointless mechanisms that make it look like a real gun. They don't serve any purpose but to look cool, but it is a nice touch.
-Pinpoint accuracy. I loaded this gun with some .12 grams and was disappointed when I saw the hop-up pull the BB upwards too much, and with this winter wind, the BB flew even further away. I put in .20g's and was amazed when the BB flew exactly where I had the sights pointed. This is no exaggeration. This gun works great. I am yet to try .25s but I doubt the gun could shoot it very far.
-FPS is great, even with the .20s in. If you go to a CQB field like me, .12s shoot pretty darn fast, and in such closed and confined spaces, you should have no accuracy issues.
-Mag holds 25 rounds, so you shouldn't have trouble reloading every time
-Mag isn't a high-cap (these are common among spring pistols). No longer do you have to deal with shaking BBs in your gun.
-Orange tip isn't too obvious
-Comfortable in hand.
-Affordable
Cons:
-Really hard to pull the slide back. It is still relatively new and I'm sure it will break in, but it does require a bit of strength
-Remember how I said there are little props inside the gun to make it more realistic? Well, there is a hole on the slide for you to see this, and if you are cocking the gun really quickly you may get pinched when the slide comes back
-Each BB you put into the mag gets progressively harder to push in. Speedloaders help a little, but after like 20 rounds it becomes too hard to do and you need to do it manually at that point.
-Cocking the gun is hard, and since the grip is textured in the back where your palm rests, it hurts to cock back the gun a few times very quickly
-Safety is kinda wacky. You have to pull the hammer down (you don't have to cock the gun) and then you can push the safety switch up.
-Mag release is in a spot where it is hard to reach unless you have large fingers, but you get used to it.
-Loud, popping noise when firing. It is a satisfying sound but is really loud for a spring gun.
All in all, the cons are something that you can live through. The gun shoots spectacular, and looks good, and even feels good to hold. Many friends may mistake this as a gas gun because of how cool it looks. I thought I was going to waste 20 bucks, but it turns out that it was a great investment for a fun little gun. This won't top an AGM Type 96 or a G&G Combat Machine (good beginners guns), but it is a cool gun that gets people mad yet impressed in a normal CQB game. I'm yet to drop this gun, but I'm so clumsy that its bound to happen, so, I'll make another review after so long to see how it stands in the long run. 7/10, would recommend this gun to any newbies or even experienced players who want to have a little fun.
