This AK is of over all good quality. I cannot vouch for the out of box fps, however I can tell you the things I have noticed. The construction is very solid, and with that, has a comfortable weight to it. Light enough to be able to pick up and hold in front of you with one arm, but not to the point where it seems flimsy. Only exception to this is the dust cover which comes rather loose and wiggles in its place. However, this is easily fixed by applying a centimeter or so of tape to one of the interior sides of the cover. My rifle came with the hop-up slightly active even in the complete off position. It just happened that it was just enough to warrant a flat trajectory as if the hop-up had been configured, just something to be aware of. Finally, the flash hider does seem to have threads underneath it, but it is glued firmly in place. The blowback provides a light feeling of recoil and the charging handle racks back about 1~2 inches, occasionally producing an audible click as it returns forward. The gun out of the box is as accurate as advertised. Shooting how you'd expect it to up to 120 feet. Lastly, the full stock attached to the rifle provides plenty of space, fitting a 1600 mAh 9.6v NiMh stick battery snuggly, so I don't anticipate any problems fitting any other modern battery as well. It can be noted as well that the battery compartment is closed via flat head screws, making a "quick" battery swap not necessarily possible. Over all, good quality rifle. Not perfect, but certainly not bad.

Not too heavy, does possess comfortable of heft

Rail hand guard provides a tactical look while remaining functional

Comfortable ergonomic grip

Plenty of battery space

Metal construction (with exceptions to stock, grip, and rail)


Cons:
Glued flash hider

Wiggly dust cover

Hop-up on even on lowest level

Screw secured butt plate

Mag release doesn't really catch. Most of the time has to be pushed in order to hold the mag

Does not appear to have a side mount for Pso scopes and the like.
