Perhaps I'm VERY unlucky (or very picky), but I was disappointed. Owned for about 4 months and used as a secondary in both CQB and outdoor field. Good: great feel/weight/aesthetics, decent power, high ammunition capacity. Had no major problems with the magazines (besides the occasional tightening of the seals to fix minor leaks).

The bad: the rail incorporated into the dust cover is not the standard 20mm, so many accessories will not fit. Hopup adjustment is impractical (requires disassembly to access) and does not hold its setting. Magazine release lever is (too) easy to activate, which could result in a lost mag while holstered and running around. The stationary front part of split slide is fixated by a small hex screw that quickly loosens during normal use. Habitual re-tightening is needed. Rear bomar (sp?) sight adjusts nicely, but looses zero (windage) quickly during normal use, necessitating permanent fixation with glue. Slide lock lever worked unreliably and needed much filing and milling to work properly. Rear grip safety did not work and some filing was required to make it functional.

And now the UGLY: the metal, though nice and heavy, is cheap and soft (slivers can be easily cut off with a knife). Thus, regular use gradually wears and deforms the metal over time, which has lead to several problems: This exacerbates the loosening of the front split slide; the ambidextrous safety lever becomes totally sloppy and useless on the right-hand side; the hammer, actually designed to not strike the slide but a small metal abutment on the frame, has worn away the abutment about 1mm; and finally, the slide lock and the corresponding groove in the slide quickly deforms and wears, which requires frequent filing to keep it functional, and makes me very afraid to use that feature. Additionally, the slide has begun to lock back randomly during normal firing, which can be extremely inconvenient during a time of need. The gun now feels sloppy when firing, and shots have become very inconsistent.

The gun was well used, but not excessively used (was my backup weapon), and was maintained at a very high level (disassembled, cleaned, inspected and oiled after every use). I apologize for the ranting (or venting?) laundry list, but hopefully I was just very unlucky and got one from a bad batch, because all other reviews i have seen were good (which is why i bought it in the first place). Too bad I have given this baby so much TLC to keep it working that it's been hard for me to let it go and replace it. Must be true love eh?
