These pads are inexpensive and thus a frequent player may want to invest in more authentic and durable equipment. While it took a little stitching to get these pads to a level of durability that will keep them in action for a long time, their low price tag and simple look paid off after a while. They take well to water and dirt, and do the job when it comes to protecting those vulnerable joints when kneeling or knocking over obstacles/doors. I personally wear the knee-pads and lose the elbow pads during play because the elbow pads are tight and the velco straps dig into one's inner elbow. The knee-pads do the job and aren't always falling down on me.

I ended up asking my mother to restitch some of my straps when I visited her house once because the fabric is prone to tearing and may need multiple repairs over the first few months. It is necessary to 'break them in' and figure out where you are stressing them to the breaking point, then make the repairs suited to your proportions.

Overall, these are cheap and will do the job if you are looking for some black knee pads that will complement a forest or urban digital scheme. I would recommend them if you are on a budget and don't want to pay for a brand name.
