I bought this gun a little over two months ago, and it is my first airsoft rifle ever. Even being inexperienced, I can tell that this is a fantastic rifle. It has a great weight distribution, and can be carried well all day. It is a very sturdy gun, I have no fear of breaking it, and it feels as if it is made to Mil-spec standards. Loads of rail space allow you to put whatever you can imagine on this gun. The hop-up system it extremely easy to get to, and the iron sights are in line with the path of the BB's. Mounting the forward grip is easy, and it is a nice study basic grip, functioning well for anyone not wanting to buy another. I have heard that it is quite easy to modify, and though I haven't yet, my quick disassembly of it proved that everything can be reached within minutes. Airsoft GI even has a take-down video somewhere for it. ROF is quite decent, perfect with the 8.4v for my tastes, and it is well suited to mid-range field matches, can work for CQB, and with a little modding can even be used as a sniper-esque weapon.
The only two things I can find wrong with this gun are in the magwell area, and are minor. The magazine wobbles a couple degrees each way when fully inserted, but only with pressure or hard movement. It is inaudible, and so minor that is need not be addressed. If you are in the habit of resting your support hand against the magwell and magazine, I would suggest putting a vertical grip (a basic but sturdy one comes with the rifle) as close to the magwell as possible and resting your hand against that instead. The other small issue is the pin in the magwell about half an inch forward of the triggerguard. It starts to shimmy out during prolonged firing and rough handling such as running. A 1.5 in strip of electrical tape fixes this perfectly and easily.
Definitely worth the money, as many other people have figured out, and as proven by it being sold out already. I would definitely buy this rifle over again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a moderately priced well made rifle with solid performance.
-Comfortable to hold and carry for long periods, and well balanced.
-Accurate with great range right out of the box.
-Easy to use, intuitive for those not completely new to guns.
-On a full charge, my stock battery lasts all day on semi, with short lengths of full-auto.
-Takes all M16/M4 mags as far as I know.
-Mine came with the option of a free gift, and qualifies for Free shipping.
-Magazine wobbles in the magwell a bit, but not audibly.
-Pin just forward of the trigger is loose, easily fixed with some electrical tape.
-Some may not enjoy full-stock and thumb-hole grip setup, and for those I would recommend the MTC 1 or 2; each have crane stocks and conventional pistol grips.
