This gun is pretty sick. I just got the gun in the mail today, and have spent most of the day test firing and playing with it. It shoots decently hard (360-380 fps) with very good range and accuracy. It has a very unique look to it, and is neither too heavy or too light. Looks awesome with a Magpul AFG anda a red-dot scope. If you're looking for a good starter AEG or a DMR platform, the MTC 3 is a very good choice.
Solid feel, plastic doesn't feel cheap at all
Not too heavy, but not light enough to feel cheap.
Accurate (best with .25s, hop up is too hot for .2s or .23s)
Compatible with most standard g36 parts
RIS up front
HUGE battery compartment (housed in the stock) can fit most small-type batteries
Comes with 2 mags and a grip, and the mags feed very well.
Says "Master Blaster" right on the box
Most of the cons aren't serious enough to drop the score lower than a 5 (i'd give it a 4.5 if I could), but here they are:
RIS has a few sharp edges, and I almost sliced my finger open trying to remove the fore-end. nothing a little filing can't fix. the plastic has a few rough edges too, but nothing too bad.
The trigger on semi-auto tend to "hang up" every 10-20 shots, where you have to pull the trigger twice to get it to shoot. it's a little annoying, but doesn't really affect performance at all, or if the gun is on full.
The small mag needs a good smack to get it to click in the mag well.
The Iron sights are bad, and since they are build into the rail, they limit the places you could put a riser or a sight.
I know that a few people will be buying this gun to make an SL8 style sniper rifle out of it, but for some reason, there's a set-screw in the outer outer barrel that sticks about 2-3 mm into where the inner barrel should fit. I think this up there to keep the stock barrel from wobbling around too much. The head of the set screw was also ground off from the factory, so you can't remove it without drilling it out. Without drilling out the screw, installing a longer inner barrel is not an option. Removing the screw won't be very difficult if you know what you're doing.
Overall, the cons are mostly just picky things, and it's a great gun. Hope this helps, and thanks for reading!
