4.5 / 5 - Awesome but not Perfect

Got this a few weeks ago and I must say it is by far the best looking and feeling P90 I've encountered. That being said it has its flaws but I'll get into that later.

Externals:
The upper receiver is CNC machined metal and the body of the gun is made of a sturdy polymer. When you first pick up this gun it's easy to tell that it is NOT made of ABS plastic. The body has a smooth flat black texture with silver FNH trademarks on both sides of the body. The gun is also quite comfortable to shoulder due to the rubberized butt pad on the stock. The rubberized stock is also nice because it keeps the gun from slipping around. The gun is lightweight and balanced around the center, however due to the positioning of your hands, it may feel a little heavier towards the stock which can feel a little awkward at first for people used to guns that are more front heavy.

Internals:
This gun features a full metal version 6 gearbox with 7mm metal bushings. It also features a plastic hop up that actually works nicely with the fps this gun puts out. My gun fired 370fps out of the box with .20s. The battery this gun comes with is a 1000mah 8.4v NiMH which puts out an OK rate of fire. I would suggest to get a custom P90 9.6v however. Unbeknownst to me until I got the gun, it actually has a 2 stage trigger on full auto, which is awesome and super useful. The gun fires extremely accurately at ranges of up to at least 100ft, making it great for CQB, especially when paired with a good red dot sight. The only downside is that it may be too hot if you're running with .20s, my suggestion would be to use .25s to get it into the acceptable fps range for CQB.

Although the externals on this gun are incredible I still do have just a few issues with it. The metal on the upper receiver is solid, however the paint can be easily scratched making it look a bit weathered, although this might be a pro for some. Also the charging handle doesn't always stay in the guides and it is possible to pull it back too far and out of the guide grooves; AVOID DOING THIS AT ALL COSTS. Pulling the charging handle back too far will cause the knobs on it to loosen and they are a real pain to tighten. The warning sticker that comes on the side also like to leave a ton of residue when you peel it off. Take my advice, soak the area with WD40, wait 5 minutes and then wipe it clean. Other solutions may mark or damage the body of the gun. Another issue I've encountered is that the magazine looks and feels quite cheap (obvious seam breaks, creaks, cheap thin plastic) and doesn't feed the greatest, although I've heard it's nearly impossible to find a P90 hicap that does. Easily remedied with some MAG 170 round midcaps. The final issue I've encountered, and probably the most troubling, is that the upper receiver is a pain to work with if you plan on upgrading things like hop up or a precision inner barrel. The charging handle bracket is wrapped around everything and a rubber stopper on the stock barrel prevents you from taking it out of the gun. The only way you'd be able to get it out is to separate the inner barrel from the hop up assembly and then find a way to finagle it back together when you are done.

Pros:
CNC Machined Upper Receiver with Rails
Polymer Flat Black Textured Body
Rubberized Buttpad
Lightweight & Compact
Silver Painted Trademarks
FPS and Accuracy for both Field or CQB
Metal Gearbox
2 Stage Full Auto Trigger

Cons:
Warning Sticker is Large and Leaves a ton of Residue (use WD40 to take off residue)
HUGE Blazing Orange Tip (remedied with flat black spray paint)
Poorly Designed Charging Handle (just don't play with it too rough and you'll be fine)
Extremely Frustrating to Switch Out Inner Barrel / Hop Up Assembly
Paint on Upper Receiver Scratches Easily
Hicap Jams or Unwinds Every Now and Then (use MAG 170 round midcaps)
Battery is Small and Runs out of Juice (consider upgrading)

Rating: 5 of 5 Stars! [5 of 5 Stars!]
