This replica is an absolute dream. The first thing I noticed about the pistol was its ergonomics. Where the USP and MK23 are simply there in your hands, the HK45 contours for the perfect fit. It also comes with a larger backstrap, which I prefer. The HK45 is a well-balanced pistol and it feels wonderful when aiming. The HK45 also features a 1" rail along the frame, as opposed to the proprietary HK USP rail. The magazine capacity is wonderful, and with the NS2 system I could get right around two magazines from one fill in 30 degree weather. The pistol features an ambidextrous slide release and magazine release, however the safety/decocking lever remains on the left side of the pistol. It also features a lockout safety which can be activated to prevent the hammer from moving. This replica is quite accurate as well, and with a Novak rear sight plate one can allegedly attach a mini red dot, although I have not tried this yet. The stock ironsights are dotted and allow for easy targeting, however the front sight may need adjusting. The qualm here lies in the possibility of losing the friction-held sight. I don't foresee this happening, however.
Light, balanced frame
Contoured grip with extra backstrap
NS2 gas system is very efficient
Quite accurate with a .25g BB
Functioning decocker and lockout safety
Sights allow for easy acquisition.
Slight possibility of losing a front sight. I have used a dab of epoxy or super glue to keep this piece in place.
Otherwise, it is a very solid pistol and I honestly don't know what I would want out of an airsoft pistol that this doesn't already do.
