I purchased this gun over 4 months ago and I have to say its one of the best airsoft guns Ive ever used. Overall I give it a 4-star rating because of its rate of fire (none) and its difficulty to utilize in close quarters. For a sniper rifle though I'd give it a 5-star rating.

Extremely acurate. Farthest accurate range would probably be 200 feet where its still quite effectively accurate. Very painful. One of the first things I did after obtaining it was to have my friend shoot me from approximately 50 feet away to see ho much pain it inflicts. And let me tell you it hurts like a bitch. It definetly gives you welts and/or makes you bleed. Its a rather quite gun, but when the BB flies past you the sound is strange but intimidating. I got a 9x scope with it, which I dont recomend because it does nothing. I wouldnt go higher than 5x. I also got a bipod, but it wasnt compatible with it, I needed an adapter, which I still have yet to find. A bipod may be a good idea because the barrel easily gets scratched from posting up on objects, but you can just as easily spraypaint over any scratches. Gas efficiency is suprisingly good for such a high powered fps rifle. You can complete 3 mags without having to relaod gas.

Only problems I have had are the rate-of-fire and my first mag's gas valve split and I don suggest tampering with it, due to its fragile state. Close quarters sucks, so be sure to have a secondary weapon in that case.

Overall great gun. Just get it. You wont be disappointed, and you will be feared.

I just got this rifle, used. It is awesome though. The feel is hefty and substantial, weighing at around 7-8 lbs. It's also very long, with a 629mm inner barrel.
I have yet to fire it at a target past 100 feet, but at 100 feet, all 10/10 shots in the magazine hit my head-sized target after I adjusted everything correctly.
Keep this gun CLEAN! If you want it to be accurate, you MUST clean out the inner barrel periodically, and always keep the grime from silicone/green gas under control.
Also just as everyone has stated, even with just green gas it fires over 500 feet per second.

From what I can tell, most of the issues with accuracy people are having can be ascribed to either (or both) user error, a dirty inner barrel, or hop up adjustment. Once you get that perfect hop up setting, you can get consistent, straight shots.

Supposedly using pure propane with an adapter makes the shots more consistent, and even a little more powerful. I'm waiting for my adapter to come, so I'll be testing that theory soon.

Well worth the money, if you know how to take care of it.

Awesome rifle. It shoots very fast and accurate with .3g bb's. It feels nice and sturdy and it is very reliable.

I must say I am quite impressed with this rifle. Don't be fooled it doesnt shoot 430. It shoots more like 550. I cronod it on a nice 80 degree day. I got it to shoot 570 on the first shot. It ranged from 560-570 for me. Shoots very nice. Its a good buy i recommend it to anyone.

good gun................. it shots about 250 feet eazy with .25 all you need to get is a scope a bipod and a few mags and you are good for a game. I would not use red gas in this gun unless you want it to die.

I exaggerated about the gun threw a half a dozen cardoard boxes. It can shoot threw about 3 or 4 or maybe even more with Red Gas.I wouldn't recommend using Red Gas because it shortens your guns life span.Gas last forever if you use it right, not too much, two seconds is enough to shoot about 20 rounds.
I shot it at a backpack and it went right threw. _____

OK,so this gun OWNS!! seriously, its awazing!! I was in tears of joy when the package finally came and again in tears when i saw for myself the accuracy and high velocity of this gun.It shot right threw about half a dozen cardboard boxes! There is absolutely no kick to this gun, but that doesnt really matter it still kicks but..
DONT throw away valuable money for a dumb spring rifle, when you can buy a gun thats fifty times better, more powerful, extremely accuarate and totally reliable compared to a UTG Airsoft Sniper Rifle.I'm not putting down UTG,just tellin' you guys to buy this sniper rifle if you want to be a successful sniper.
The front sight is removable.putting on the scope is easy as long as you have rings for the scope.I would recommend getting a 9 by 40/50 scope but you dont have to,its a great gun without a scope.
The gun looks alot better than the picture.
Its soid and heavy.
So i'm definitely recommending this gun to anyone who wants to be a GOOD sniper.

I have been using this gun for about 5-6 months now and I am very happy with it. I have fired about 1,100 rounds from this gun, which is pretty good for a bolt rifle. The gun has a couple of oddities that you need to be warned of but overall the gun is easily the best value sniper rifle around.

First off the good. The power on this gun is amazing, even more so considering the price. I have had this gun clocked at 515-550fps using .20 BB's (green gas, warm weather) with all stock parts. You will not find any other stock gun at anywhere near this price that produces that kind of velocity.

The gun is extremely well built, with the possible execption of the bolt, which I will explain more below. The mags in my opinion feel a lot more solid than the actual Tanaka mags, but the option of the long mags from Tanaka is nice. With the right BB's, (such as .30 Super Grand Masters) I would say effective range of this gun with all stock parts is 200-250 feet.

Now for the bad. The biggest complaint about this gun is the fact that it is VERY picky about what BB's you use. Not just weight, but brand as well. First off, weight wise, consider .26 a minimum. I would recommend sticking with .30 or higher. Brand wise only use BB's with a good coating on it, or graphite ones. For example when using .26 JT's or Marui's the gun at a range of 90 - 100 feet (using 8x Bushnell scope) is often off by 5 - 10 feet. Yes, feet and not in any particular direction either. You will be shooting at a non-moving target, sighted right on his chest, laying prone and watch the BB sail 8 feet above his head. Whereas with BB's the gun likes, you can hit a pop-can from 200 feet, one shot. This does not seem to be an issue with the barrel, at least not completely, because with the good BB's it will shoot straight on.

More likely it seems to be an issue with the valves on the KJW mags because the BB's velocity fluxuates by approximately 40-50 fps. I have not tried using the .26 Marui BB's with a Tanaka mag yet, but as long as you stick with the better BB's you should be fine.

The only other issue with the gun is the fact that the bolt seems to quickly become rather loose when pulled out. It has not yet caused any issues with the gun, but it is a concern to me.

So, overall I would recommend this gun. It's biggest flaw can be worked around by spending a little extra on BB's and the only other con has not yet been an issue. Therefore I would recommend this gun highly to anyone looking for a bolt action sniper rifle.
