For: NC STAR 2-7x32mm 3 Rail Scope
Product Information:
This scope is pretty nice, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. It is rather heavy, and the mount is not the best, but it will stay. The mount screws look terrible and are definitely bad quality, althought they seem to hold. Rails seem to be of some quality, and should hold up. If you are buying the non-illuminated version, know that the turrets are not the same as the ones on the illuminated version. You must remove a cap and use a screw driver to adjust windage and elevation. The scope did not come set level in the rails, and after putting it on my gun I realized the reticle was crooked. This isn't a big deal if you own a solid rest and levels that mount onto rails. I did not, so it took about three tries to get it perfectly level. My scope has the rangefinder reticle, which I like. It is nice for tracking where your BBs are going and helps you adjust. The scope did come with an Allen wrench for adjustments, and a nice manual on the scope and a manual for using the range finding reticle. Both are good manuals and should be kept. I plan on putting a micro red dot on top so that my M16 can be used at different ranges. I would suggest a standard rifleman to get 2-7x32 if they want a scope like this. The 3-9x42 is likely quite a bit heavier and would not prove much of an advantage to a riflemen. If however you have a DMR setup, the 3-9x42 might be beneficial.

Pros:
Nice reticle (rangefinder)
Solid feel
Rail space
Solid click when adjusting turrets
Convenient for red dots,flashlights, lasers,ect
Overall good vibe, would recommend for some people with longer rifles, wouldn't want to throw this on your shorty M4
Illumination if you want to pay for it
Good manuals

Cons:
Mount is sub par
Mount screws are BAD
Expect to adjust scope for reticle levelness when you get it. It is unlikely to come perfectly straight.
