Package was small and compact, just amazed me at first as to how perfect a hideaway gun this is.
It was a un flashy plain cardboard box with Magpul markings and model indication. Opening the box reveilles the ASGI proof paper work/pre ship test. 348 FPS w/.20 BB. Magpul owners manual small bag of BB's, silicone oil, KWA hop up tool, magazine and weapon.
Build quality: Plastic is the high grade Magpul polymer apposed to ABS junk. All the parts feel solid enough and even the stock fells good to shoulder with little flex for what is a polymer gun. KWA guts are the M 18c metal slide and outer barrel. Access hatch/ top section of gun folds open to make getting to the internal slid should you need to adjust the hop up easy and quick.
Function: The gun deploys just as fast as Tim shows in the ASGI TV video and folds up just as quick with just a few buttons pushed. The barrel both inner and outer are the extended length KWA product upgrades. The outer slide cocking handle gives a satisfyingly smooth pull, as well as being independent of the inner slide so you won't need to worry about it catching your thumb when firing. Because it dose not move back and forth when gun is cycling during fire. The rate of fire is grate as anyone who has fired a G 18c on green gas can tell you. My chrono put it @ 351 FPS with .20 BB just about what ASGI paper work said it would be.
Final opinion: Love this gun, what an awesome back up gun for a sniper or anyone that would want more than a pistol to back them up IE need for a switch to a more hardcore CQB gun on the fly while outdoors. Yet it takes up little more room than a pistol. The sights work well enough but the laser I got for it helps so much more. Just a heads up. I had to trim a little off the front of the King arms flashlight to get the FPG to fold up with light installed. The laser fit fine. The extended inner /outer barrel really help put this gun in it's own category. So small when folded, so big on performance when deployed. I had no real max range estimates, but at 100 ft watch out this gun has them pinned. Note: You need to make sure you get Magpul base plate mags or it will not close up.
