For: JG R2 Skorpion AEP Airsoft GunProduct Information:
Mmk so I bought this gun here on ASGI, and I was pretty excited for it. A pistol with the ROF of an AEG is a pretty neat toy, and I usually play CQB with a russkie getup, so this was to be the gun for me. Took a long long time to get here (I live on the east coast) and on account of a freak blizzard that rampaged throught the state. A month later, I get the box from UPS. I am gonna poop meself with excitement. I load it up, take it out, and pull the trigger. Schlump. A bb jams in the hopup. You have to turn it ALL the way down for a BB to get out. OK. I turn it down, pull the trigger, and a shitstorm of bbs come whistling out. It was awesome. Pull it again. Click. Wot? Click click click. Nothing. Take it inside and pull it apart. All the wires are properly connected. So I fiddled for about three hours. Nothing. Busted. Ten minutes out of the box. Take it to the local repair shop. They tell me on account of it being made in China there is no warranty and no market for replacement parts, due to it being an AEP and not an AEG. Crap. Big huge kick in the pants for me. So now im stuck with a $100 ziplock bag of metal, plastic, and wires, because some electric part shorted and there is no way to get another. Makes me pissed everytime I see it, but I dont want to chuck it in the vain hopes that I can get it repaired and it may not cost me more than just buying the WELL one. Overall a cool gun, lots of metal, good accuracy, and nice rof. BUT, on account of it being a Chinese cheaply made AEP with no replacement parts, when it breaks, it breaks for good. And all guns break sooner or later. Read my lips. DONT BUY THIS GUN.
Nice body work.
Good range for its size
Good accuracy for its size
Ability to put 30 rounds in one place for a pistol in about 5 seconds
Variable and questionable quality
Absolutely no way to aquire replacement parts short of buying a second gun
When it dies, its dead for good...
