Product Information:
I was excited to order this m9 pistol from Socom Gear, having owned their Wilson Combat 1911 pistol that came out ages ago. However, when I opened the package and took out the gun I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the build of the pistol.

The slide was built well and very heavy, as was expected; however, what really turned me off about this gun was the low quality of the lower "receiver" of this pistol. It is indeed made out of metal, however the grip feels very, very hollow. When you slide in the magazine, there is a hollow-toytastic feel about the gun from that point on. Although the magwell is metal, it creates a plastic feel when you slide the magazine in, and you don't get a very positive feedback feeling from changing magazines.

The other problem lies with the fact that the actual "action" of the gun (the pulling back of the hammer and such) is not very realistic. You can cock the hammer when the safety is engaged (cant do on a real gun) and there are many other features of the cocking system that doesn't strike me as very realistic. Perhaps it is because I own a Western Arms m9, where all the features of the gun are realistic.

This gun is cheap at $135, so expect to sacrifice on the quality when you buy this gun.

One more thing, I did not attempt to shoot this gun at all, since I am more interested in the overall feel of the gun and the realism than how it preforms. If you want a high-preforming gun that is cheaper than this, just get a HFC M190 for $80. Nuff said.

Pros:
-Metal
-Rubberized Grip (Feels Plasterific though, get a Hogue real steel grip if you want rubberized)
-Cheap
-Decent FPS from what the tests show.
-Holster is a Real Steel m12 Holster. (Fit into my thigh rig)

Cons:
-Cheap feeling lower. (All the weight of the gun is from the upper slide)
-Light total weight. (Several Oz. off)
-You CANT remove the orange flashider easily at all. All US models have the threaded barrel GLUED into the barrel. Use HOT WATER if you want to get it off.
-Unrealistic action.

Product Information:
I just received this in the mail today. When i opened the box i was as gitty as a school girl from just the looks of the gun, but then i remembered my Classic Army CA25. It looked great but performed like crap. This gun is actually very well built and chrono'd at 317fps. It is heavy and the weight seems very well balanced. The textured grip is very comfortable and the threaded barrel adapter comes off if you do not want to use it. It has a hard blow-back and the sliding action when firing is nice and crisp. It's compatible with other TM aftermarket parts so there are plenty of replacement parts out there if something does go wrong. I highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for an m9. Thank you Airsoft G.I. for a great quality product.

Product Information:
This is a pretty bad ass gun, but I've had a few problems with it.
When I first got it my grandpa thought it was a real weapon, by the way it looked and felt. Not long after I filled it up and it only fired 3 shots before running out of green gas. I was raging, and I tried a different gas and it worked fine.

Pros:
Heavy
Loud
Tactical-looking
Threaded barrel
Mean blow-back
Full metal
Textured grip
Hits hard
Accurate
Can shoot 2 full magazines before you run out of gas

Cons:
I put a silencer on my gun and then I bumped it and it tore the silencer and the threaded barrel extension off.
My magazine has a pretty mean leak, and they don't sell any on this site that will fit this gun.
It seems a little 'too' real.
