For: SOCOM Gear 11.1V 1300mah LiPo TriPanel Battery Package (Battery, Charger & Liposack)
Product Information:
@J Breen The disclaimer on the battery specifically states that you should NEVER let its charge drop below 3volts/cell (which is 9 volts in this case) it sounds like you ran your battery below this mark and as the disclaimer warns, bad things happen. my experience with lipo batteries is that they are a double edged sword. They offer much better performance than their nimh counterparts, but require more maintenance. I personally recommend to people considering going to lipo to wire in a MOSFET first, primarily because I saw someones gun fry because their trigger contacts fused.

Pros:
Better ROF
Good longevity

Cons:
high maintenance
can cause trigger contact failure without a mosfet

Product Information:
First off i want to say when i tried to order another battery, and it was out of stock, changing the batteries was very easy thanks to the airsoft gi staff. ok but the battery is a hunk of crap. It worked in my heavily upgraded scar for about 4 hours until it overheated. (awesome) then when i got home the next day i put it on the charger thinking that it might just need to be recharged after all the action. I was wrong and the battery started smoking and leaking battery acid( while attached to my gun). Then the conecter coreds melted together and had to be plied apart. save yourself the hassle stay with a normal bettery and not a $105.00 peace of $&%!

Pros:
While it worked it had good power and r.o.f

Cons:
It over heated after only 4 hours of play.
caught on fire and leaked acid.
and possible skrewed up my $350 gun.
