The CM045 is part of Cyma's newest line of guns, based on VFC AK models. Stamped steel externals, excluding the pistol grip and handguard, which are made of a very nice plastic fiber material.
410 FPS out of the box, 16 rounds per second with a 9.6v Intellect.
I replaced the motor with a G&P M120 High speed motor, put in a Prometheus MS110 spring, relubed the gearbox, and now it's doing a solid 395 FPS and 21 rps.
It's a relatively unassuming looking little thing, but as soon as I fire it I get a lot of compliments on the field :)
Compression is very good out of the box, despite the cheap looking clear plastic air nozzle. Might benefit from O-ring replacement, but I think it's really just fine.
Metal hopup, metal ball bearing spring guide, 7mm metal bushings, polycarbonate piston, ported piston head, ported cylinder. Shimming decent enough.
Overall very smooth gearbox.
Beautiful externals (in an ugly, AK sorta way)
Lots of green chinese grease in the gearbox. I cleaned it out and relubed everything.
For some reason my stock motor was burning up so I replaced it.
The folding stock, pistol grip, and foregrip all have a very slight wobble, due to the nature of their assembly.
Be very careful removing the flashhider, there is a small set screw which will tear up the threads if you don't take precautions.
