Product Information:
I ordered this for my TM mp5 thinking it would improve the looks of the gun and help out in the occasional night time games, however, i was only able to keep it on my gun for 2 games.

the first game i used it with, it worked fine, although i didn't really need it...i didn't really need it for the second game i played in either, but it didn't matter.

during the game i didn't drop my gun, whack it against a tree, or even shake it around a bit, but when i was packing the gun away i nced that both halves of the flashlight slipped right out and the flashlight ceased to function.

the flashlight itself is suppoed to be screwed into the foregrip as well as being held in place by the hole made for it.

upon further inspection i noticed that the screw hole on the flashlight itself was useless and allowed the screw to pop right out. It appears that there was another connection made at the back and ofcourse, that too broke apart without me knowing at all. Finally, the seam on the bottom was beginning to come apart as well...all of this after only two very light uses.

This grip costs $69.00, not including the cost of the batteries, but it is fragile. For this amount of money spent i would expect to be able to throw it on the ground and pick it up working again, but if it can't even last through two airsoft games, there is really no point in buying a replacement from CA again.

the only reason it gets 3 stars is because i have to assume i got a factory defect

Pros:
looks good at first

Cons:
way too fragile

first of all the batteries ABSOLUTELY DO NOT last 2-3 months , they last about one hour and fifteen minutes (of continual use) if your batteries last that long then you must NEVER use your damn gun!only real complaints i have are the two plastic tabs in the back portion of the handguard that slide into the reciever of the gun brake VERY easily, and the wiring from the pressure pad needed to be re-soldered after a few months. you can pimp this thing out nice though, go to surefire.com and buy either a p60 or p90 lamp assembly , you will have about the same light output with the p60 (just a better beam shape than the stock CA bulb) and the p90 will give you about double the light outpout (120 lumens versues 60 lumens for the stock CA bulb) but with the p90 you will only get 20 minutes of continuous runtime (considering that your not going to be holding the flashlight on the whole time your playing, 20 minutes will probably last a few games before you need new batteries)
