its a good gun, the best thompson AEG you will find, and the most realistic. definately.
ive had for about 5 months and the thompson itself is just an awesome gun to have in your arsenal.
holding it, feels like... i don't know how to describe it, just like you could win the battle on your own.
you can grip the foregrip for better long range aiming, keeping it more steady,
or you can grip near the top of the mag for more close quarter engagements,
both feel really snug
my charging handle knob came loose, and fell off. the screw just fell out. but a little super glue fixed this.
comes with a sling, don't use it, its really cheap and weak and i don't know if it will support the weight of the gun.
the stock has 2 compartments in it, one held the small battery and wires, and the 2nd one,
snuggly fitted a large type batter, but you can't close the butt plate when using a large type, it will cramp the wires.
but it can easily fit a nun-cuck with no problem.
this is almost exactly the same length as a M4 with a full extended stock.
i got this at my local sporting goods store, sorry asgi. yours came in a little late.
the mag it comes with is plastic and holds 47 rounds, you can buy metal 300 rd ones at big 5, if you have one near.
the mag release is a bit weird, you push it up with your thumb while at the same time pulling the mag out.
it gets easy though.
the orange tip is plastic and pints around the outside of the barrel,
its easy to pull of and put back on.
the only reason you would take it off, would to use this gun as a wall hanger.
althoguh this gun is classified a sub machine gun, its not really fit for CQB, its more of a field weapon for sure.
seriously don't buy this if you plan on using it in tight situations.
the reason i gave it 4 stars is because it's not the best gun you will ever buy, but it's a good one, for sure.
i only save 5 stars for guns that are almost a class on their own.
but overall, i'm really happy with it.
cyma seems to be making a small redemption.
Easy Hop-up adjustment
Easy to take apart
Accurate- barrel's longer than a CQB M4
Decent Rate of fire
the weight is very satisfying
the licensed white thompson lettering on the side is a really nice and realistic touch, that you wont find on TM
the fake wood feels really plasticky, but you get used to it.
plus the only wood grips you could buy for this, would be meant for the real thompson.
rear sight, although adjustable, wiggles a bit, but if you dont touch it, it wont move out of place.
nothing for accessories to attach to. unless you custom something. but hey, it's a WWll gun.
theres a bit of creaks in the body, especially in the grips and stock, but a little wd40 will fix that,
bottom reciever is plastic, but it's very small.
but really, any of theses cons, you barely notice.
