Received the gun today. Functionally, it operates great, chronos in the low 300 range with .20g bbs and Green Gas, (Probably a bit higher, I did not give the magazine enough time to warm up after filling).

Even cold, I was able to empty the magazine with one fill of gas, with some left over.

Performance is excellent with CO2 as well.

The only drawback is that, contrary to the description, there is NO lanyard attachment point. (However 2 minutes with a dremel and a small drill bit solved that. I drilled right behind the mainspring pin on the bottom of the grip, and had no difficulty.

Overall, a 4/5. If the gun had come as described, it would get a 5.

This gun is really sick but there are some things i didn't like about it. For one the metal on the barrel and hammer have a really shiny metal color. Kind of looks a little fake. Also the orange at the tip of the barrel is painted on, and the mags are pretty big. The grip is pretty cool, but i thought it would have a kind of a soft feeling to it but it doesn't. Its completely solid. Sights are good and i haven't had trouble with the slide catch not catching after the mag is empty. Compared to the WE 1911 tactical i think the WE looks better but i think this gun has an edge in performance. Buy this if you got the money you wont regret it. OD grip is the way to go.

i just bought this yesterday after driving down to gi. idk what to get i knew i wanted either a 1911 or something from kwa. i saw this as a new item on their website and was intrested and the guys had alot of good things to say bout this gun. so i purchased it. they chronoed it at 335 with green gas.. i use propane and im guessing it shoots around 350 with .20 i havnt fired it on c02 becuase the mag i was given has a broken valve. i will call gi about this when they are opened next.

anyways this gun sounds mean its loud and it hurts. i shot my next door friends friend and he almost cried. you an get about two full mags on a good 10 second charge of propane if you dont fire to fast. the gun astheticly is very sound and the taniokoba grip is very nice... i removed the orange with nail polish remover and it looks great... the paint on the front of the slide is chiping alittle but over all finish is good. his gun is deffinately a great performer and you cant go wrong with it for 125$. i know kjw has had some iffy guns in the past but they are deffinately taking a step in the right direction with this
