Got this motor when I purchased an SRC G36kv Gen 3 on another site because I couldn't beat the price:performance ratio.... and to that note, all of my guns which require high torque applications will be run on SRC Torque Up motors from now on. These motors are fantastic, they spin at a fair rate of fire, pull dang near any spring I throw at them, and do so without so much as a shrug.

Extremely strong... seriously, it can probably pull a truck. It's also half the price of the Systema, which is awesome because that means more money for other upgrades, or heck, another motor for another gun! It also pulls the SRC Gen 3 upgrade spring(chrono'd at a field @ 390-420fps on avg) with absolutely no shrug and delay starting up with my Lipo(25c constant, 30c burst, 3300mah)

I hear it drains battery power fast, so I don't really recommend it unless you can fit a 3000mah or higher battery in your gun, otherwise, I recommend being scarce on the trigger holding. But this is just rumor, I have yet to have one of my batteries, be it the included 8.4 3000Mah that came with the Gen 3, my 9.6 3500mah, or my Lipo at 3300Mah playing through an entire weekend and firing close to 10,000 rounds each time. Honestly, for the money, it is going to be my main upgrade from now on; I can't wait to see what this does with my LiPo wired to Deans and routed with a MOSFET! XD

My motor came broken, i was ready to throw it out but kept it, after buying the new matrix magnum motor i chose to take a look at this motor. Turns out one of the brushes was shattered because they are brittle and during the shipping process it must have been broken ( I might have done it but really don't recall). This motor works fine and gets the job done, it is a great motor for the price but id suggest the matrix magnum.

Powerful magnets
Durable pinion gear
Low price

It came broken, have since fixed it.

This thing can pull an m130 equivalent with ease. With a 9.6 3300mah battery, it gets about 15 rps and has very little lag time on semi. The magnetic resistance is very high when hand cranked and requires much effort to turn the pinion gear. In fact, the magnets are strong enough to hold my pocket knife(4.5 inch folding blade S&W) latched on to the pistol grip upside down. If you need a motor with some serious torque to pull a high tension spring, you will not be disappointed with this motor.
