This was my first gas gun MBK upgrade and also the first time I've stripped a GBB down so far on a TM 1911. You actually do need to mod the plate spring in the rear of the hand guard by a few mm's for it to fit into the new body but it wasn't difficult at all.
The parts are a VERY tight fit into the body so don't get discouraged when you're pushing them in and they don't want to go. Everything lines up fine you just have to give it a good push or tapping here and there.
I'm very pleased with it.
Airsoft GI lists it as the cheapest I've seen in the states.
Feels solid in your hand, no worries
Great finish, I was being very rough with it and have yet to leave fingerprints or scratches (so far)
Installation was easy enough for someone new to figure it out
Very tough to fit parts in, thought I was going to break them at times. There are 2 very small springs in the internals so if you're swapping, be careful.
Rear sight of the TM having some trouble getting centered
Screws that go into the body don't seem to be the correct threading nor length but hold it fine. They stick out a little (brings me to my next point)
1/25 or more racks the slide with lock up about 1/6th of the way. I'm pretty sure it's just catching the top of a screw, a quick slap releases the slide and it is able to be recocked. Who doesn't like a jam now and again anyway?
