I bought this product from another retailer here in canada, but i figured I'd review it here for every one interested.
This Sight is HEAVY! It weighs a good two pounds plus, and the construction quality reflects this. The sight is solid as rock, and has a good range of adjustment, unlike other SpecterDR replicas. The sight is not fully licensed, and so there are no trades on the sight. Which is no big deal really. The string holding the battery cap to the sight is rather flimsy, and will break easily, but again, that's not a big deal. The only real down side to this sight, is the illuminated dot power levels. When turned on, a dot, red or green, is projected onto the center of the crosshairs, would have much preferred an illuminated cross hair, and the power levels for the dot its self are rather under whelming. They are more than obviously made for low light operations, as the first three settings are barely viable in a bright areas. The eye relief on this optic is about 2-3 inches, and it is a VERY clear field of vision, and the 4x option is actually 4x, and the 1x option is something like 1.2x, also, unlike other DR replicas.
Solid as a rock
Great range of adjustment
Very clear line of sight
Good eye relief
A nice ammount of weight to it, makes it feel as beasty as it looks.
4x option is actually 4x
Optional mount on top for red dot doctor sight if you can find one.
Best SpecterDR replica on the market in my opinion
Brightness levels leave a lot to be desired
The additional 2+ pounds can offset the balance of a gun, and make a rear heavy gun more so.
Mounts a little loose on some rails (VFC scar top rail for example, can be fixed with electrical tape)
String may as well not be there.
