Well what can I say, after waiting 6 months or so for my Kriss Vector, it arrived today...just in time for Christmas! Plus Airsoft GI threw in a Aim tactical 150 lumen light for FREE! Way to go ASGI...So I opened the box and there it was in all it's KRISSness! Its bigger than I imagined think MP5 with the stock unfolded but with it in the folded postion its pretty compact about the same length as a MP7, the KRISS would make a great CQB weapon if it didn't fire so hot...368fps was on the inspectors slip in the box. Its build quality is what you would excpect from KWA...great! Its also pretty hefty with the long mag, I would like to compare its weight with the short mag...I think it was worth the wait...
Pros:
Its KRISS Vector! Comes with a knurled muzzle protecter (which also fits the KWA Mk23 pistol) nice flip up sights, comfortable fore grip, adjustable butt stock pad, full trade marks, nice crisp blow back, semi, burst and full auto modes, seems very efficient on gas although it was close to 40 degrees outside. ambi safety and fire controls, storeage compartment inside pistol grip, doesn't require tools for take down. mag follower locks at bottom for ease in loading BB's
Cons:
Fires hot for most CQB indoor, a little heavy.. might fatigue some in long Milsim type games, sling loop is on right side and is for a 1 inch wide sling, charging handle is on left side making it right handed shooter friendly only, long mag is pretty heavy, comes with only 1 rail section although there are mounts for either side...time will tell how durable it is...only available in black...wishing for a FDE version...little in the way of customizing available now. |
