Definately is more tense than a stock Echo 1 spring and adds some good fps. Fits fine with my Echo 1 cylinder set and Echo 1 spring guide.

fully compressed the spring is 2.24 inches long ( wire is .7 inches thick and it is wound 32 times .7 *32=2.24inches) now in my particular gun the spring must be 2.1 inches or less when full compressed (a CSI AK assailant with upgraded v3 gearbox) this means it is physically impossible for the gun to fire (ever). i have a feeling this is because both my upgraded piston head (echo 1/modify aluminum piston head) and spring guide (echo 1/modify metal spring guide) both have bearings which subtract about a half inch from the maximum spring size (when fully compressed), if i did not have the bearings i would have a spring be about 2.6 inches when compressed, meaning the gun would fire. but one would expect when the same company makes the spring spring guide and piston head they would realize something like this (the spring being too big for a gun to even function). as of right now i have had to revert back to the stock spring but i plan on getting a MadBull or PDI spring.
