Product Information:
Before you go disparaging products, I suggest you do a bit of research. This is not the JingPeng version with the plastic gearbox but the Cybergun officially licensed version.
This particular model does come with a metal gearbox and a metal outer barrel as well as the metal bipod. This version is chrono'ed at 440 FPS w/.12g BBs but anyone that would even use .12's in an aeg is completely out of their mind and just asking for trouble!! It does however chrono at 350-400 FPS w .20g BB's, 387 on average and hasn't jammed yet!.
Average ROF is approx. 850rpm w/ 8.4v battery.
So get your facts straight before you decide to flap ur pizzapouch

Pros:
Build quality is as good if not better than the TM version
Build quality far surpasses the JP version
Full metal gearbox w/metal gears and reinforced internals
Metal barrel assembly
Gen3 high torque motor
Decent 7lb weight

Cons:
Not too many accessories for Famas unless you customize.
I plan on rebuilding my handguard and attaching 3 sides of rails and square metal tubing the carryhandle and attaching 12" of rail to the top of that
the permapoxy thats used to attach the flashhider

this gun is $170, but if u spring for around $200 you can get the tokyo marui famas sv or f1 and ill tell you why. first of all this gun has a rof(rate of fire) of around 700 rpm(rounds per minute) while the tm has a 1100 rpm just like the real steel famas. this gun has a plastic gearbox that will indefinatly break while the tm has a full metal gearbox with eg560 high tourqe motor that gives it a shredding 1100 rpm. the tm gearbox is so great that ive put well over 10,000 bbs thru it and it still asks for more. the last thing i wanted to note was the tm comes with a great black finish, 5 sec. adjustable hop up system real color for the ejection port(not tacky silver) with realistic trademarks, black metal flash hider and orange plastic for safety, realistic balanced weight, and an terrific sound wen u cock it back the only dif. is this gun has 360 fps while tm has 300 but it makes up for it by being incredibly reilable and all around fun. have fun when this gun breaks. lol

Pros:
just fps, tactical rail and aswum look of this gun

Cons:
getttaaaa tokyo marui famas people

I just recently bought this gun and this gun really is a good gun. The gun is very sturdy unlike the Tokyo Mauri version that creeks everytime you look at it.The gun has a very decent weight to it, considering that the real Famas is made mostly of hard plastic so its relatively the same weight. This gun has great ROF and hasent misfed yet and great FPS. The gun is great for left handed shooter since its an ambidextrous tybe of weapon the the cheek piece can be switched for lefties. The only down fall is the RED LOCTITE and little RIS. China should stop using red loctite because it cures like concrete. Blue loctite is better because it turns to powder when you need to remove the screw. i ended up stripping the barrel tip tying to get it off for a fake suppressor. There is a little 3 inche RIS only good for a laser, flashlight,or foregrip. I'd recommend the laser flashlight combo available on this site.Overall really good quality gun for the price.

Pros:
Well built
Metal gearbox
High cap mag
Good integrated bipod

Cons:
Poor sights
RED LOCTITE
Little RIS

I've had this gun for over a hear now. Same version as the one sold here. In short don't waste your money.

I used it in 2 skirmishes. 1 Lasting 2 days the other a single day. During the single day skirmish it was pretty good. Had no problem with it. Was easy to carry around and easy to fire one-handed when necessary.
The 2 day skirmish was a different story. Day 1 the piston kept locking itself back, or it would not fire at all. Day 2 was straight down hill. Even though I pull the trigger completely back and only fire in short bursts, the piston still kept locking itself back. After about an hour of firing and resetting it I gave it up.
Got home that night took it apart noticed the cheap wiring, cheap internals and quickly figured this gun wasn't worth the $130 I paid for it. The other owners I've talked to about this gun say they've had the same problems and unless you're gonna buy this gun to put it on display, or just use the body and completely replace all the internals it's not worth it.

Pros:
Strong body
Nice stiff bipod
Decently accurate

Cons:
Selector switch has a history of not working correctly
cheap wiring so it may short it self out
problematic
plastic gearbox (prone to beaking)
crap soldering job

So, I ordered this gun here on Saturday, it got here on Thursday. AMAZING shipping ASGI!!! 5 days! I live in Austin too! This is the FAMAS F1, I ordered a 9.6v 1400mah battery, and a leapers 40mm red dot and .25g bbs along with it. The red dot not only looks so nasty on this gun, but it makes aiming through the stupid iron sights a thing of the past. Dont get me wrong, Im not some COD4 nut, but iron sights are such a hassle, espicially in low-lit areas. The gun came chronoed at 385 fps with .20g bbs! I use .25g bbs, which lower the fps to around 340-350. fps. The accurcy is pretty good, being a bullpup gun. If you want supreme accuracy, .28g bbs may be the way to go, or a precesion barrel if you are a skilled gun stripper. (lol I know you are laughing at that) but I am very pleased with my purchase, range is areound 180 feet, has a bipod, very high quality plastic body, the real gun is fiberglass, so a plastic body is actually realistic. I also like the small orange tip too.

Pros:
Unique look, not another mp5, m4, or AK.
Multi-purpose AEG. I use it as a support gun
Very good FPS for a stock AEG.
Compact, 30 inches.
Very solid plastic, I already dropped it, it is durable. No creaking either.
Great range. 180 feet.
Safe gun, has 2 safe mechanisms.
Good weight to it; 7 pounds.

Cons:
The guns hop-up is hard to adjust.
The battery is a hassle, but with practice it gets easier.
Cheak rest is uncomfortable.
Price. I still thought mine was worth it though...
Iron sights arent very reliable/hard to use.

Product Information:
Over all i like this gun. Its got good fps a decent rof. Its made of mostly plastic but is very sturdy. The battery doesnt last too long though and theres isnt much room for a bigger one. For some reason the finger guard doestnt stay in one place but I just screwed it down harder. Its not too heavy but all the wieght is in the back. Out of the box mine shot 370 fps so it wasnt bad. But im used to my sniper that shoots 550. Seems pretty hard to uprade this gun very much. Good beginner gun. Kinda wish it was full metal but it would be very heavy. I could live with it though.

Pros:
-good fps
-sturdy plastic
-good size and wieght
-good iron sights
-very sturdy rail

Cons:
-mag has some trouble feeding sometimes
-weak battery
-finger guard sucks
-mag is kinda hard to get in

Product Information:
for the price its alright. if you are a pro. its not the gun for you, but if your a beginner, or a mid level player, its ok. the FPS is steady around 365 (i used my chrono to check that out.) and its internals are decent. the guns battery is a pain to get in, but it gets easier with a little practice. overall its a good CQB gun, and it holds up alright over time.

Pros:
-light weight
-easy to use
-unique design
-decent internals
-good fps
-ok ROF
-good gun for beginners, or even mid level players

Cons:
-all plastic
-accuracy isn't great
-some pieces fall off (the finger guard fell off)
-not much room for bigger battery, so your stuck with the same ROF
-winding the mag is a little weird and takes some getting used to.
-not worth the 170$ if you are planing on upgrading, but if you just want a decent gun out of the box, its not bad.
