When I think quality I do not really think of AMP honestly, a clone company who makes cheaper products. However given the amount of time that a single BB loader has lasted I have to reconsider AMP. The main construction is moderate and has held up to rolling around on it while playing, while I am on my second AMP loader this one has actually outlasted my first one, and the new KWA loader. While this is not a perfect design, for the price Iíd say itís better then the KWA loaders or any of the pistol magazine shaped loaders. It has an adapter for loading Gas Blow Back magazines and when not in use it swings away and snaps into place into a recess.
The design has itís bad points, the plunger extension is a weak spot and is not very thick, the nozzle is also a point that over time or abuse could or will break.
Despite itís shortcomings given the price and how long it has lasted both players who come to out field and myself I feel buying two of these is well worth it over a more expensive loader like the KWA BB loader.
Cheap but durable (I have had my second AMP loader for 3 years now, which outlived my brand new KWA loader by a mile)
Pistol magazine loader that is not loose, much like the KWA adapter
Thin but holds enough for 3 or so magazines depending on the size.
Construction is a bit cheaper in some parts
The main failing point is the plunger arm extension that pushes the bbs into the channel and into the magazine.
Another probable point of failure is the loading nozzle, however because of the design losing the o-ring will not render the loader useless.
