Product Information:
This magazine has some minor issues with it. the effect or these design problems is the bb's will not load properly into the receiver. i am pretty proficient with fixing guns and mags so i decided to take it apart and figure out what the issue is after about 10 minutes of studying the inner workings i figured it out ( yes this drum does have a coil spring in it to feed bb's) the coil spring which after a few shots unwinds and then pushes more bb's into loading channel was the incorrect size along with the gear it is attached to so i found the one that is the right size replaced it and reassembled the drum mag. and it is now working flawlessly. don't hesitate to buy this you can either pay to get it fixed or fix it yourself. took in all about 30 minutes to do.

looks great
hi cap
works great (after repairs)

i had to fix it for it to work (no biggie)

Product Information:
this was the first mag. in bought for my M1A1 and I must say it works very well. But for it being a drum mag. I was hoping it would hold more bbs than just 450. 600 would have been nice. It's easy to wind up even if you have gloves on and especailly if you're in a moving vehicle. Sadly, it's very heavy to be put on an smg with is also equiped with a grenade laucher so it only sees use during battle where I'll be stuck in a vehicle for a period of time.

Easy wind up system
Very stylish
better than low or mid cap. mags

Bulky and heavy for an smg
Low capacity for a drum mag

Product Information:
Very good drum mag! Doesn't hold thousands of rounds like others can, but everything else makes up for it. It feeds very well, better than the hi-caps, and as good as the mid-caps. Easy to wind up, and it has a door next to the top to load bbs in during combat, or check ammo. From the side view, you see almost two halves. The forward half is kept from spinning around by two pieces of plastic, that can break if the mag is dropped from above 3 ft. This is easily fixed by putting a screw in there or something. Overall very good mag.

Feeds Well
Easy to wind up
Door on top to check ammo

forward section can spin, easily fixed
can't hold foregrip easily
heavy to carry on vest

This clip worked well at first. But after a while it started to miss feed. Its not worth the money and I recommend you buy the tokyo mauri 330 round. It does fit on the CYMA and it is much more reliable.

Can put a large amount of fire on an enemy
Looks cool
Makes you feel like a badass

Miss feeds
Mine unwinds if you let go of it

I made my father get into airsoft, and we got him the Chicago Typewriter version of the Thomson. :3 ... However, I had problems with the mag. Maybe it's just my luck to get a busted magazine? Who knows? All I know is the thing was built WRONG. It just flat out doesn't work. Biggest problem is, I can't return it and I can't open it up. No nuts, bolts, screws, or anything I can take off to at least see what was wrong.

I think they either screwed up and never put a coil spring inside, or said spring broke somehow. All I know is it didn't work on the first game we played with it. Couldn't even make the BBs feed into the gun.

... Apparently there are some, but I haven't seen 'em. See the review before me. He had better luck. I mean, how awesome would it be if it worked?

- Can't open it up.
- NEVER EVER EVER rewind it backwards. Although this wasn't what mine broke because of, it is very easy to screw up yourself. Usually a friend would break it, according to past reviews I've seen.
- Unlike modern magazines, you have to slide it -straight- up into the gun. Makes it a little tricky, but hey, it's a fricken' barrel mag. If it works properly, this shouldn't matter.
- Oh, and get the 'gangster' version of the Thomson if you want a barrel mag. It has a foregrip built right on. The normal Thomson doesn't, making it hard to handle.

Product Information:
This is an excellent 450 rd. drum mag. It is full metal and can take a nice beating. I was as skeptical as you are right now about winding the mag but the large wheel makes for quick and easy winding. I have a Cyma M1A1 Military Thompson and the mag slides in great. When you release the mag it slips right into your hand. It will not let you hold it by the foregrip, so hold it on the trigger guard like you would a PPSH-41. I highly recommend buying this drum mag. It is worth the money.

Full Metal
Easy to wind
holds 450 rounds
not too expensive
slides into the mag well easily
easy to load

hard to hold foregrip
adds a pound or two (could be a pro or con)
nothing else
