Product Information:
to start off, this gun WILL NOT FIT IN THE REAL SWORD GUNS OUT OF THE BOX! Me and my dad had to dremel the sides and the back latch of the magazine so it would fit. But after that they fit perfectly

good material

nice feel

the back latch is plastic (I don't think that's what it's called, but the part closest to the stock). So I can see it wearing off after some uses

is it spring or do you have to put batteries in it

I own two that I got last December. The only problem with midcaps is that they are prone to jamming (caused by an aged spring twisting) due to the turns that the spring has to take on its path. I had to bring mine down to 110 rd capacity by plugging the back of the spring with 40 BBs. But it's better to have 110 rounds that fire than 150 that don't. I love how the metal body is identical in build and finish to the real one. They age nicely with fingerprints and scratches. There is even a Soviet arsenal marking (triangle with arrow in it).

Unless you want the realism of a 30 round clip...dont bother buying any other. This magazine keeps airsoft the way it should be; no winding, no rattling, and no infinite ammo per magazine. fits the tightest and feels the most solid of any other AK magazine. With the horrible experiences of my AK high-cap, this magazine was a saving grace. The next best thing to this is the standard 70 round mag. But, i'd rather not care 2 times the amount of metal magazines to do the same job.

HOWEVER, you CANNOT use this magazine with cheap BB's. It literally won't work. Wal-mart's FINEST BB's were rendered worthless. In order for the BB's to stack, side by side, there can be no imperfections in the rounds, or they will jam...A LOT. So now i have to order my ammo instead of buying the wal-mart specials, but hey, its worth it.

I'm also not sure on what the metal is or what the paint is made out of, but it has almost a bluish color to it, and it finger-prints up real nice like, but, who cares?

I love... LOVE these mags.

-Solid as a rock metal construction (abs for a top cap where it meets the top of the magwell)I dropped from my hip pouch to concrete and it only had a wee scuff on the abs and a smaller scrape on the paint. I have no fear of quick mag changes in firefights and dropping them to the ground at my feet if it's not rocky or wet.

-NO misfeeds after a lot of use with 4 different mags.

-Loads at least 150bb's but overloading may wear the spring out a little cuasing some not to feed. I carry 4, but tend to sneak a lot and shoot less.

-Quiet as there are no loose bb's shaking around inside. As I said, I sneak more to shoot less.

-No winding! You don't have to worry about the dreaded bzzzzzt! in the middle of a firefight.

*on the downside, they're sort of a pain to load. Get a M4 shaped speedloader instead of 3 pistol sized ones like I use. *tired hands and sore thumbs*
