I have small hands, but these fit tight on me. Normally I like a loose fit for clothing, but these would be an exception. For what I have been able to use them with/for, I have been pleased. I have a decent grip and flexibility. Most gloves (including "medium") make it difficult for me to pick small items up or do things such as tying shoes. I feel confident in these to do such tasks.
I am cautious about the material used for making the gloves. After removing them on for the first time, some black particles (perhaps from the glove) remained on my hands. This has not happened since, but it does add concern for me. I can feel the inside stitching, but (for me) I don't think about it all the time. I have noticed imprints on my hands which I have a disliking towards.
The padding over the knuckles are yet to be tested. They are not as the picture seems. In the pictures I noticed, the padding for the knuckles seem uninterrupted with some "ridges" but it is not. instead, there seems to be one long pad with smaller padding lined together, stretching from side of the hand towards the thumb. So when you flex and grip the padding on top spreads apart. If I knew about this, I'd be more hesitant on my purchase. Would the gap allow a bb to hit my knuckle? For now, I just have to wait and see.
How the gloves are described (in word) is not always how they are. I've dealt with gloves or other clothes in which promised qualities or features are not as explained or certain details are left out.
Be sure to check with return policies and reasonable ways to test gloves you buy in ways that do not damage the glove. its difficult buying online, but with this gamble - thus far- I'm on the win.
